    MPJE in VA

I think you have to give the Virginia Law exam after the Pharmacy Board approves you, not the MPJE.
  2. Congratulations LadyJane! Please advise what study materials you used.
  3. Hi, CVS part means the preparation materials given by CVS? What are they? Please explain.

    Pebc

FGPEE is not recognized by Canada and the PEBC exam is not recognized by USA. They have almost the same sylabus though FPGEE gives more importnat to management questions while PEBC focusses more on patient senarios. The pass rate is lower for the canadian exams.
  5. Hi Ninah, Why did you move from CVS to Kaiser? Why did you not complete your internship hours at CVS. Just curious! Thank you.
  6. Hi friends, What is the process of H1 visa? How long does it take to get it? I understand the company has to apply for it. Thankyou
  7. Yes safeway, I am still in canada. Where are you?
  8. Hi, Anybody from toronto preparing for the may MCQ and OSCE? I want to stay motivated. Have just begun the preparation. Let's form a group if anybody is interested.

  10. Are 3 months enough or how much time is ideally needed for preparation? How many hours to study everyday? Any tips on how to prepare?
  11. Hi, I think the PhD does not count but your toefl results from long time ago might specially in case you got the same scores as NABP wants from candidates. Still ask them about your old toefl result. Best of Luck!
  12. Hi, I know the pharmacy prep course and the teacher. His classes and books are both useless. He is NOT a trained pharmacist but a PhD in pharmacology from toronto university and is minting money out of immigrants. PhD and license are completely different things. Students who took his class will tell you that he is always late by one hour and his books have a lot of faults. Also students who want to work can type for him for minimum wage. But he is not a qualified pharmacist and therefore he is not a good teacher in clinical pharmacology only in basic sciences and research type of things. And he is all in all which means that he hires no other pharmacist to take classes. Also when you go to meet him he will show you letters from people who he says have passed from the center but I am not sure. So please check with others also.
  13. Which book should we practice for case studies or patient profiles? APHA does not seem to have that.
  14. No I think but please confirm with others.

    CPR chapters

Yes you should study them and also they will come in more detail in your second exam, Naplex.
  16. The exam is a little tough than the FPGEE but you can use the same books. Check out the FPGEE forum for more information.

  18. Oral english exam - after giving Toefl_ibt? This is very surprising.
  19. Hi Sarah, If your state requires registration for a pharmacy intern, check whether they will issue a license with/without SSN number. Sometimes they may issue a temporary intern registration without a SSN while waiting for your SSN number arrival.
  20. If you have some kind of experience of working in a pharmacy, maybe as a technician, that will also help.
  21. Sarah123, I think that depends on the board of pharmacy of your state. What state are you in?
  22. I agree with Forumuser. Technician experience tells the recruiter that the person knows what he is getting into because he has been behind the counter in a pharmacy. I don't think it makes a difference as far as pay goes but certainly the pay of an intern is more likely to be higher than that of a technician.
  23. Hi Jen11, I too want to start the preparation for NAPLEX. The more we discuss what we are doing on this forum the better our preparation will be. I hope there are more like us who will like to post NAPLEX problems, study materials and discuss.
