hi .. why dont u check with some current students of Masters in Eco..?..maybe from those Univs where u've recd ur admits.... Another option would be going on a job search engine..maybe monster.com etc..and putting a search for Master in Economics....and check what types of jobs are available.... regards

Yeah BU is really expensive...but I've heard it's worthwhile.... and yes, no fundings nor any assistantships...but am in touch with a current student who says that there are on campus jobs coming on and off..which pays like 9$ per hour...well, i guess it may partially take care of accomodation....

Is a recommendation letter from a visiting faculty (whose in the top mngt) more effective that a reco letter from the director of ur insti? am gettin fro both but i dont knw whoz to submit....??!!! bcoz i need just 2 anways... Also am with exp so I guess a reco letter from my boss is better....right?

Yeah I agree..u need to use the entire time...but I would suggest to track the seconds..it's good to make a conclusion in the speaking session ...it adds the finishing touch..... Another suggestion would be to write down the points u want to talk on during the prep time.....it makes the flow of words easier... All the best luv A

Please consider buying the TOEFL packages that are available....I got a package for $10..it's an absolute VFM ...(Value For Money) 2. U need to be extreeeeeeeeemeeeely ATTENTIVE during the listening part or you might just loose out some info ...and u can never guess which info is imp! 3. Practise Practise Practise scribbling every word said during listening session.....u can never rembr everything.....so u need to take down almost every word! 4. The TOEFL scores have been extremely delayed. I took my test on the 1st of december (Mumbai) and am still waiting....it was supposed to come on the 27th..... Anybody's got any fresh updates on this delay! Luv Apeksha

hey thnx..but its 500 in V and 570in Q and juzt my score sheet ...with 5 in Analytical writing...one thing I realized about the writing part is that you need to have a sizable write up.....more than wht they expect and of corz no crap but elaborating on even two points should pick up a 4 or 5.... V prep would be courtesy Norman Lewis....and basic usage of good english in everyday life! all the best for ur aplication too..... regards Apeksha

I scored 1070; V:570 Q:500 ....it's a poor score isnt it... BTW am applying to GWU Boston Univ Loyala, Chicago Suffolk remote chances right?? :blush: Am applying for my MS in Organisational Development/ Human Resource...and only a few Univs actually need a GRE score!
