  1. Thanks, do you feel one should remeber these figures.
  2. I thought of knowing other opinion on the idea of rescheduling GMAT or postponing. I am scheduled for 1 Dec 06. and preparing application material parallely however on the basis of low verbal score on Powerprep and Gmat prep, my confidence is shaken. I am now thinking of rescheduling for 2 months and opt for 3 rd dead line around Feb 2007 end. I have seen some of the contributors have expressed that they were not happy with the low score and could manage to improve scores significantly. How is the idea of targeting for higher score in first shot or getting first ~620 and then re-writing, if required. Considering my 11 years long experience and sound career track with many achievements, a low score ~ 600 might dent my bright prospect for admission into top 20 univ, I feel. I invite your comments and valuable advise. Glorous
  3. Congrats, Its nice to see your jump of 130. Actually I am scheduled for 1 dec test however looking at the low verbal score unwillingly going to reschedule the same. I am getting almost the similar score as you got in your first attepmt. RC is troubling me the most followd by SC. I feel your tips are realy helpful.
  4. How 1) 400 & 3) 2520 plz. Could some one explain. Thanks.
  5. Thx Animesh, I was stuck on the same point testing at X=3.
  6. Take log of both sides, Log (2^x/y)^x i.e. x^2. y log 2 i.e x^2. y x^2 is always positive, so y 2) supports bit not 1) Thus (B).
  7. I marked E but GMATprep says thats wrong. With C) i.e both togeteher suff.... is not correct as both X & Y can be negative and satisfy 1 & 2. Any ones expert opinion.
  8. If X is positive, which of the following could be the correct ordering of 1/x, 2x and x2 1. x2 2. x2 3. 2x None I only III only I & II only I, II & III only I tried it with X 1. Could you pls give a try to confirm.
  9. The points A,B,C and D are on a number line, not necessarily in that order. If the distance between A and B 18 & and that between C&D is 8, what is the distance between B & D. 1) The distance C & A is the same as that between A & B 2) A is to the left of D on the number line.
  10. Hi, I am also planning the same although date is yet to be taken. A close interaction would certainly enrich both of us, I believe. Good Luck.http://www.www.urch.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif
