  3. Yes you are eligible so far you are in legal status in the U.S and you have approval from both ECE and NABP regarding your credentials.F2 visa holder I believe is a spouse of an F1(school student ) visa holder,so check your legak status in the U.S and go ahead and apply.

After staying home for so long, during which I submitted my resume to every chain I could find on the internet, I finally got to do an interview with one of the staff. And I was told to submit my documents that if I get approved I will be assigned to an area of need. its okay with me as I am ready to do anything.

    H1b

Hello, Please is there anyone recently who has had his H1B filed by a non profit hospital? Please response is appreciated. Fumi.
  8. I read these posts and feel saddened at the fact that some of us want to take the law into our hands in a country that has offered to integrate us into their system. The thought of suing NABP should not even cross your minds at all! They are doing us a favour by giving these exams. We are to bend our backs, face the wall and study to pass. Many have taken the toefl and failed it,I know but whoever stops trying always ends up as a failure. Please, for the sake of future test takers,I stand to plead on their behalf that you shouldn't do anything that will hamper their ability to take these exams. Please I plead with you. If you sit down and analyze properly, you will find out what the problem is with TOEFL IBT but please leave NABP out of it before something drastic happens. If you decide to go on like this just know that not only are you preventing yourself from making it,but others who do not even have a voice! I leave this with your conscience! I pray you do the right thing and work harder because you will make it! Peace! Fumi.
  9. Hi there, Sorry for being a little late. I used the Comprehensive pharmacy review 6th edition, reading in between the lines(for the side effects don't attempt to master all, just the most importnant ones.Same with drug interactions e.g use of quinidine and Digoxin, what happens?) You will find it very helpful if you study diligently the manan shroff theory, its very good. I also used Remignton(thanks to bigmoonstar) for issues about pharmacy practice and history.(scan through the history)I read specifically what was asked to be read in the blue print. You might be tempted to read the whole chapters but don't do it,You will be stressed.Read also pharmacoeconomics in Manan shroff pharmacoeconomics, very useful too. For pharmacognosy, the herbal chapter in CPR is more than enough,Because you are expected to know the basic herbal drugs, not the whole herbal plants in the whole world. Finally, play with manan shroff calculations,at least 50 questions a day in your spare time. Last but not least,Please and please make use of the Wikipedia encyclopedia. This is the best dictionary I have ever seen. I must crown all I have said with Prayers, faith and confidence in God.Do not fear Because if you start harbouring fear or worry before the exam, you have just told yourself you can't do it,when God has said YOU CAN! All the best December test takers.I hope you have good results the way God helped us here for June. Fumi.

    Post your results

Friends, Thank God for me.I passed too with 103.It's amazing how God helped me because I just gave birth to a baby girl 4 DAYS before the june 23 exam and my baby was still in the hospital that day of the exam.I had the wristband on to write the exam and God favoured me.Now I have not only my precious baby but my Fpgee too. This is to encourage all you who have babies or are pregnant that YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU WORK HARD AND PUT YOUR FAITH IN GOD. cheers, and to all waiting,we will rejoice with you too. Congrats to all of us. Funmi.

    Texas Pharmacist

Hello there, How are you doing? Please can someone who has written the Texas NAPLEX and MPJE give us list of materials to get and study for both exams? Thank you. Fumi. for quote=Whitelisa;455704]To all who are interested in becoming a pharmacist in TX. Followed are the steps I asked from Lisa Ake , Texas Pharmacy board. FPGEC-->complete Intern hours -->Naplex and Jurisprudence--> Licensed Pharmacist. Reply: you cannot work more than 3 months as an intern from the date of your FPGEC certificate. That is if you apply to become an intern. And you must have a job before you can apply. FPGEC-->Naplex and Jurisprudence-->complete Intern hours--> Licensed Pharmacist. Reply:This is probable the best way to go FPGEC-->Naplex and Jurisprudence--> Licensed Pharmacist. (Without doing internship) Reply: NO, unless you have intern hours earned in another state. Look like it is impossible for being a pharmacist without internship in TX. Anyhow, just for every body’s reference.
  13. Please I get your point. However, what do you guys think of this from wikipedia? Circular DNA From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Circular DNA is a form of DNA that is found in bacteria and archaea. While the individual strands of a linear double helix represent two distinct and separable molecules, this need not be true for circular DNA. If the strands twist an odd number of times around one another in completing the DNA loop, then they are covalently joined into a single molecule. Please we need explanation because I think what it means is that bacteria and other lower organisms have circular DNA instead of the normal DNA we humans have.

    Question

Hi, ans no 1= 1 ans no 2= close ended question ans no 3= propanolol. pls lets know the answers you have.
  15. I think it's like this. Cav = F x Do/Vd x k Cav = 10 microgram/ml (0.01 mg/ml) f =0.5 Vd = 10 litres(10000ml) K= 0.693/1 (1 day=24hrs) = 0.693 therefore, Do = (Cav x Vd x k)/F =(0.01 x 10000 x 0.693)/0.5 = 138.6 mg day approx 140mg/day Please correct me if it's wrong. fumi
  16. Check this website. http://www.edhayes.com/labtestmain2.html I hope this is what it means. fumi

    Doxorubicin - basic?

hi, the circled one is not what Im talking abt.the b-dicarbonyl is towards the bottom left just as illustrated in cpr 6th edition pg155,if u have u can check it. besides, amide has CONH,not CONH2 as pointed out,for this u can check cpr pg 159.I would still say Tetracycline is amphoteric. This is my view. pls correct me if im wrong. fumi.
  20. fumi

    Doxorubicin - basic?

Hi stkn, tetracycline is amphoteric, that is it has both acidic group(b-dicarbonyl at bottom of structure) and a basic group, tertiary amine(at the top of structure) therefore its not just an acidic structure, its both acidic and basic therefore its amphoteric. Hope u understand. fumi
