  1. :rolleyes:Does anybody know about any institution offering PhD prog for working pharmacists on a part time or distance education mode? I know there are n number of institutions offering this so called PharmD prog for North American working pharmacists. I would very much appreciate your lead in this regard. Thanks well in advance.
  2. CVS too many stores, obviously too much to do. Walgreens have the best to offer in terms of training and money. Riteaid has something less than Walgreens in terms of money. CVS offers the least as far as my knowledge goes in terms of money (atleast in the Detroit city area). Think of money and training oppurtunities. People are always something to deal with as a new challenge.
  3. You want to take naplex without internship, then texas is the only option. You want to take up the naplex after internship, and you don't have the ssn with you right now, then go to Michigan board of pharmacy and apply for registration. Arizona state pharmacy board doesn't need ssn for registration. I hope my info' helps you. Good luck!
  4. Can anybody share their experience, preparing for the Naplex exam with the Prontopass study material? I bought this study material with a firm conviction that I am going to pass the exams. But curious enough to know some of the past experiences of others with the prontopass material for Naplex.
  5. As far as the info' my freinds have given me, it is 5 attempts. It is well above the number of attempts other boards provide.
  6. Try calling each and every cvs pharmacy in the area you are interested in. Get hold of the list of stores and call numbers from CVS.com. Call each one of them and get hold of the concerned pharmacy supervisors' details from the stores. I did and got one in the Detroit city east, as a grad intern.
  7. Hi, I work in Grand river avenue/Southfield CVS pharmacy as a foreign grad intern in Detroit city area. You get paid around $ 35-39 with Walgreens, $ 22-25 with Riteaid, and $ 15-16 with CVS in Detroit city area. That's all I know. I will be glad if this info' is of some help to you. Bye for now!
  8. I plan to take up the Texas MPJE, any helpful book for preparation ? What are others doing? -
  9. QC is feedback control and QA is feedforward control. I hope this helps.
  10. Hi, Well people in my study group, and as per advice from some of my freinds who have already taken the previous exam, pay attention to the basic pharmacokinetics chapter, plus review some basic theory details like therapeutic range etc from TDM chapter. No need to concentrate on the formulaes. As such the pkinetic calculations don't include the TDM chapter standards in the FPGEE. Perhaps we need to review our stand on this for NABPLEX, I am not sure. Bye.......and Good luck.
