Hi Guys, well i can understand your reason for the panic but all this was due to the reason of a security breach which took palce in Georgia college of tech i believe so the same thing tht had happened for paper form of NAPLEX so guys its really in all of our better intrest that we do not try to act smart by breaching the security remeber its a test to see how efficient you are ..out in the real world that is where your knowledge is going to be tested at times you will have patients yelling at you and saying all the nastiest things you could possibly think of doubting your educational values so (the worst!!!) lets respect the system and work with the system so that its easy for all for us ...Remeber everytime there is something like thisthe person who is involved will be either happy or sad but all other's career are at stake for sure .... just a thought ....

Hi preetham, The whole idea here is not an excisting problem croping up all of sudden but during the months period there could be some issues like drug drug interaction with a new rx during this time and also if its something like a newly diagnosed pt with say diabetes type 2 or b.p or say R A it usually takes atleast a couple of months to form a regimen of therapy so its allways advisable to cancel the old rx as the physician is no longer alive or no longer in practise and refer patient to another physician who has taken over pt.s of this physician and can go thru the patients earlier history and make necessary therapeutic changes... hi willie , sorry to correct you i guess for the controls question only c3-c5 or rather i would say c-7 can be dispensed on oral order ( i believe oral order is physician or physician's representative calling in RX) c-2 cannot be filled on oral order ...and as far as counsultation is concerned it can be offered to the patient but i guess if RpH is on break then the best and safest option is handing them the drug info. and also let an intern answer any questions ... thnxs

Hi all, I agree with McDougal he/she is right in LTCF the fax RX serves as the original and can be partial filled too and after each partial refill RPh has to notate the quantity. Dispensed date of dispense and RpH initials and one more thing it can filled only till 30 days of the rx (I guess on the last part!) please correct me if I am wrong on the last part. Thanks.

Hi All , I am not against a company but when they flag their flagships declaring that we are the best I would like to draw their attention to all these issues!!! I am really surprised with the response and I strongly feel that there should be something done people who are ready to work harder and keep th eshow going on are barely encouraged but inturn are taken advantage of !!!! Ethics Ms.Patricia if you are reading this you might want to think twice. Do not do the NABP's and board's job they do their job in the licensing process and also let INS do it's job you are hired by walgreens just to do your job not other's!!! Good luck. -

Well, this friend of mine is a RpH and ok !!! first thing first not a Intern and the person working at international pharmacist I guess (usually that is what happens when a tech is upgraded in handling the lives of international people due to lack of proper exposure to the international standards and diff culture barrier) said that this person is not qualified as per Walgreen’s to be a pharmacist !!! Wow I was amazed and upon further inquiry to it I found that she is just a mere tech (I have no intention of disrespecting the tech's as we all know that they are the backbone of our pharmacy) but in this case I felt it is not right and it is not her job to assess the credentials of a RpH. The Board of pharmacy and NABP are doing their job so wouldn’t it be nice if we let them do their job and that person also forgets one thing every 2 years or probably every 3 years this person too has to send in her tech renewal license ..... So international pharmacist at Walgreen’s, if you are reading it, please be professional and show it by action not by just advertisements on TV channels. Would really make you a better person and Walgreen’s the best company to be working for both personal and professional satisfaction. That is all I can say and for the rest of the Walgreen’s supporters, moneys is not everything now this friend of mine did get a very good job with Wal-Mart with 20000 sign on and relocation package and almost competitive package of Walgreens. Here it’s proved that ignorance is not a bliss.... Good luck folks with all your dreams. I just thought it would be nice to make international students who are so crazy about Walgreen’s that things do go wrong even with Walgreen’s and there have been many posts earlier that I have read on the same website about issues with Walgreen’s. Please educate yourself and do not let people take advantage of you know what you are worth and do not lose faith. Good luck.

Hi all , Of late a couple of my friends had a very bad exp with walgreens the international pharmacist person (I do not want to mention her name publicly) but really is headweight and I would definately not recommend walgreens to any of my other frineds for the fact that the way she treats people and matter of fact if credentials are asked she is just a mere tech who is supposed to be helping people .I can sound rude but I believe that the level of professionalism has been decreased in this particular company. Just a word of caution or else your choice and wish you good luck for the future endevours. Good luck.

Hi i have all the naplex material Kaplan book 25 Naplex pronto pass flash cards for 20 A&L with cd 20 morris Cody notes 2006 edition all the booklets 32 of them only for 200(I had spent a cortune on these $1000/ ) I also have some FPGEE books for sale too contact me if intrested ... Hi saiyana, In short the true form of unprofessionalism and this tells people why rite aid is nto number one and is trailling due to such unprofessional attitude of soem of the HR people.Its not the case with walmart or dillions or meijer or cvs or walgreens..... hope that this helps u

Hi there, well the only reason about these two companies is that wiht the type of exp i an dmy friends had with them i would rather be with a company and work for such people who are atleast honest upfront u know with rite aid the problem is with its international pharmacist recruiter Sagee mahmoud i am not sure if the upline people are warare of her attitude but when u deal with her u might or might not get the same type of treatment that many of my friends did when they have been trying for their internship.I can openly say one thing for her is she is very very unprofessional and unethical person i am from the same country she is from but its sad to find the way tht she has treated people (this is my worst exp.With people in pharmacy field in US) . Now walgreens they say that they need people which might be true but if they really need people then they need to work little faster and more efficiently as they do in the prescription volume .It just makes people wonder when they are getting offers in other states with some of theleading grocery chains why in the hec would they want to wait for walgreens ??(infact some of the grocery chains pay more than walgreens does and they do respond promptly and help u out much faster than walgreens does!!!) once again the efficiency that they expect their workers to have do they really have it ??? I hate to wait for ayear and then hear from them saying yes they need me esp when u hav eur itnernship to complete and reach ur goal towards being a full fledge pharmacist and infact i did hear that they have delayed in hiring the pharmacist too ..... So these are the things that i normally feel andlook at before accepting the offer from any company no matter who its i will be paid the same market price any ways this is just my epx and my thoughts and it should definately vary .... Hi urvash, Yes those books are enough and make sure u have aschedule and spend atleast 5 hours a day for NAPLEX and if u can simultaneoulsy study the top 200 drugs too which will of lot of help in the end and yes if possible after u are done with one reading tyr the kaplan quesitons too along with A& L and you should be fine. Hi its a kind of job training that one can ues while in the last year of a professional degree i am not sure of the private pharmacies you can actually get in touch with an immigration attorney and ask more about the OPT process to be honest i hate to guide you throught misinformation and i am sure that while you ar ein your final year of your professional grad studies you are eligible to apply for opt and then later on can apply for H1B this is for sure but i am not sure of the process in detail and so i suggest u to ge tin touch with an immigration attorney or rather get in touch with your universtiy or school people who handle the international norms ( i hope u got it!!!) every school has one .Hope that this limited information might help you get started towards your H1b goal.Good Luck

hi chaku i fu ahve the apha book then u should have some information about aerochambers in there and as far as prograf is can cause nephrotoxicity and has black box warning and mainly pt needs to be monitored for CRcl and other renal function test as per hospital protocol and famvir its headache nausea,vomitting and pruritis pls correct me if i am worng thnxs

hi i am not sure but normally an FPGEC is considered a grad intern and they normally get paid around 20-24 or a little higher or lower depends on ur location and since u do not have a H1B i am not sure how many chains might really help u .Other option is u might want to try OPT during which u might be paid a little less i am not sure of it but there is a possibility (pls double check this information!!!) and then apply fo rthe H1B for 2008 so that way you can start making some money and exp. and a good rapport with the company kind of win-win situation Hope that this helps you good luck

hi one more thing when u talk to the DM tell him/her that u need a H1B transfer in specific or else they might not get it and think that u might have to wait till 2008 u see so just make sure they understand ur situation ....

Hi Navigate, well tht is really sad i am not sure which state u are licensed in u know tht too plays a big role for example if u are in say an so called saturated places like metro cities like new york or washington i am not sure of those districts but yes if u are ready to relocate to TN i am sure there might be things that can be done so try in those remote places in some of the states like NH,TN,SD,ND,OH,etc.... i am nost srue of ur specific situation in the matter of which state and your sitaution as far as ur current H1B and if u are a intern and if so how long will it before u are licensed (u might want to take this too in consideration to be very honest they need pharmacist and might do something for u if u will be licensed say in a month or two ) and these were the answers some of my friends got form some big chains and if i think for a second i do feel they are right anyways let s not take it here so u might want to think on these terms and decide and let me know if u want any specific help if i can know which state u ar elocated in i can try helping you out .... Hi chaku, one of the other uses of amitryptilline apart from anit-depressant is can be used in treating migraine headaches i am not sure of the exact dosage but just chekc it up in ApHA Hope tht is helps good luck

Hi Oil, ther eis a program called OPT where in u can work for a specified time period while still on F1 visa i am not sure about the details u might to ask a immigration attorney or if u have a CVS in ur area as the district manager about the OPT program or ur school or www.USCIS.gov hope tht this might help u
