  7. Hello all, I have 2 years of IT work experience and have now been offered a job in HR .Will HR experience make me eligible only for an MBA in HR or can i apply for marketing as well ? How good are the MBA HR courses in the US ? I am looking for an MBa that will find me a good job in India also .. will an MBA in HR from the US also be able to fetch me a good job in India or are the HR principles used, different ?? Please help . i am unable to decide whether i should take the HR job or not . GMAT Bong and others please help me decide.:hmm:
  8. (D) reduced the amount of phosphates that municipalities are allowed to dump 1972 is way in the past .Statement is made in the present and the current amount allowed is lower than what was allowed in 1972 .When one says "are allowed" it refers to the current amount allowed . So IMO "had been allowed to dump" is the best option . IMO the answer is (A) Please correct me if my answer is wrong. Please post such questions in the GMAT Verbal Sentence correction Sub Forum for more replies .
  9. TestMagic and its users , thank you all for all the guidance. Great stuff guys.[clap] Ok now for the debrief . I actually did not have a method any different from the ones already posted.Although the journey from 580 to 710 was not easy . The first time i took the GMAT i was devastated , I got a higher score in my diagnostic than in my original !! On the D-Day i was really tense , and messed up :(. For all those looking to take the GMAT ,stay calm and do your thing . I have just one piece of advice :- write out atleast 5 -6 Issue & argument analysis essays, because thats the first section and confidence in your work at that time calms you immensely . Thanks again for all your help . [clap]
  10. Hey congratulations on your admit:) .Could you please post your profile ?
