Hi Karuna,Did you take CPJE yet? If so..can you please guide me what study materials you used and any review courses you recommend? I am from IL and never lived/practiced in CA. Thanks for your help.Sheila
  3. Yeah..same here..I also want to take Texas MPJE..can some one help us..please!
  4. I have a plan to take in 1st week of April. I'm ready to discuss with you guys. you can email me to
  5. Hi Siri, I'm planning to take in April too. Where are you located? I live in Chicago, IL.
  6. I work for CVS as an intern. In my area intern pay is $36.70. I don't think this is cheap.
  7. Hi Everybody, I'm a Pharmacist and I work for CVS Pharmacy in Wisconsin. As you guyz know that CVS bought Albertsons couple months ago...so they need lot of Pharmacists. If any of you who are already licensed as a Pharmacist searching for a position in Wisconsin or who can move to Wisconsin can contact me at 847-589-0220. Hourly pay for a Pharmacist is $52 (comes to 110K per year) in Wisconsin. Thank you
  8. Sorry..i didn't check it before but...what pharm2005 said is right. Mine was updated online yesterday and recieved the certificate today...:) . Of course I live in Illinois...i think this is the reason it took only one day to get via mail. And I sent fax 2 times last month...saying that I have an offer in hand but they just need is certificate..so n so...may be that's y they processed fast i think...but..as u know...u can not say anything abt NABP people.
  9. Yeah....I think you may get it any time now...they got my results by June 2005 and yesterday when I searched for my name in NABP website i found it in FPGEC achievement list. That means...mine is on the way home. It took exactly 3 months for me. Finally...i'm relieved now.
  10. ksa is correct. You would need a 5-year Pharmacy degree to be able to work in Illinois. I think the requirement of number of Pharmacy internship hours is 400 and that is part of 5-year degree program. I think the regulations allow you to finish your equivalent 5-year degree in case you don't have one. But, you will need to work with a US university to get your credits transferred. In summary, it is impossible to work as an intern with a four-year degree.
  11. Elsie, Yes, makes sense now.. I'm going to mail my application to WI board today.
  12. Elsie, Thanks a lot for your prompt response. Your help is greatly appreciated. Yes, I did request for an official copy of my academic credentials directly from my school. So, if I understand correctly, I will get the internship permit when I eventually submit 2670 application filled out by the hiring Pharmacist (employer). Have a great weekend..
  13. Elsie and others, Thanks a lot for sharing a lot of useful info on this thread. I'm in the process of applying for an intern permit in the state of Wisconsin, however, I have a couple of questions after review their website and looking at the application paperwork. Can you please answer them when you have a chance. I called the Wisconsin state board several times, but I couldn't get a live person to talk to. 1. What are the fees I need to send as part of the internship application 2. Since I don't have an internship offer from an employer yet, can I send http://drl.wi.gov/dept/forms/fm2670.pdf at a later point. Thanks again for your help.
  14. Check out http://www.nabp.net and perhaps give them a call. They will give you all the instructions specific to your case.
