i think u shudn't delay. at ur situation one should give an exam as early as possible. but they have a month one rule. so stick to it. stick to it. i am telling from my personal experience. last year I got a 680 on march 27th. The best strategy was to give the exam within a month. But I delayed and it has been almost an year I haven't given the exam. Of course my needs and motivation level changed, but that can happen to anybody. since u know it was a bad day, and all u need is to maintain ur preparation level, just go ahead. take a date. one monthe from now.

queen09, I can't believe your score. its a complete outlier. i am sure u are the 700+ person. so undoubtedly u have to give it again. just take a date after a month. and keep on going. keep on going.

what schools are u aiming. seems u urself feel u can increase the score. moreover SC always has lots of scope for improvement. I would recommend RETAKE.

hotsoup, u seem to be a smart and intelligent candidate. In this respect u are pretty good. Even ascore of 780+ wouldn't have madfe u any better on the academic aspect. However, u need to justify to the admissions committee, why u have chosen not to work before getting into MBA. what's the hurry? I am not debating on the rational behind work exp. But u need to have strong reasons as to Why MBA??? And most of the people build thier reasons on whatever experience they have. U need to make sure u are clear about that. Ask me and I would say I don't see the need of an MBA before doing atleast 2 years of job. My 2 cents :-)
