hmm...thanks everyone for extending your invaluable help :) I want to apply to ISB but I read in many places that its IT mean is 730...and anyways I was thinking of applying to that college in R2...so probably will give GMAT another shot sometime in Nov and then apply to it. And no I do not have the H1-B visa as yet.

o boy!! did u say "give a try to at least Kellogg/Columbia/Chicago" :O kellogg's is just my dream....I dont even aspire for Harvard or its like :) Well all these problems that you have enumerated regarding the H-1B visas I thought will happen for a better ranked B-school also isn't?

:) you are quite close... I am an Indian IT female with 3 years of exp in this field....I guess so I am not any better off than all the IT males out there.:(

hey congrats this is indeed a very good score....and u waste even a single moment worrying whether you need to apply to the top B-schools....just start worrying about your application. :)

Ok 1 more thing...does it make sense to apply after giving my gmat again...i mean if i give the exam again within a month...but i guess which will mean that i wont be eligible for R1..right? Will this score be a -ve point in my application? That is what I am not able to judge!!

Thanks buddy. But I really need an honest opinion here :) I am aiming for the top 20 B-schools, so should I take the test once more? I am really in a fix.....i need some advice.....:(

Hi all, I gave my test today....and well I am extremely disappointed with my performance :( I was very confident to take up the test, but quant seemed quite difficult and I think I kept worrying about it during my verbal also which made the verbal score soo low :( I have been scoring well in my GMAT practise tests (730, 710)...so I did not expect 680...now I dont know what to do....should I take the test again? please help....

Yes of course I forgot the (2,2) pair. That makes the probability 4/9 @Queen09 I think you have considered the possibility of selecting (1,1) twice.

Imo B
