  1. Thanks that is a good idea...any one else agree
  2. Yea I see Why For example I do independent studies in my major but they are not part of my major GPA on my transcript but I add them on my resume because they are more relevant then the intro classes. So if I have had a teacher who gives the top grade as an A- do I explain? For example, I receieved a 96 in advanced corporate finance but she gave me an A- because that is the highest you can get. Also, I got a B in a class I shouldnt have gotten a B in and there is a reason do I explain? Also, I got a B+ in principles of macro but an A in intermediate, will that matter? I got a B+ because first semester frosh year I did anything but school. That changed, obviously, since my GPA is a 3.8 at a top school.

  4. Is this true? Last 60 credits because if so I have a 3.96 GPA overall and my major GPA is 3.8
  5. That makes sense and now that my first question is answered can anyone help answer the reamainding 2-4
  6. I figured someone who os or has going thro the app process can lend some good advice
  7. What is your profile? GPA, undergrad, work experience, etc
  8. Quick Questions: I am taking courses after I graduate in Math and Econ...do I compute these to my overal GPA with my undergrad? If you have a legit reason why you got a B do you explain it in your app? Also, if an A- was the highest in two classes you took do you explain this? Lastly, if your overall is a 3.77 but your last 6 semesters were 3.92 do you point that out?
  9. Am I wrong in saying that if you graduate from Penn with a Financial Econ degree and someone grads from Wharton with a Finance degree the second, though prob took the same courses will get hired more quickly and with higher pay. NOTE: All other factors beign equal such as letter, dissertation, grades, etc Why is that
  10. Using the econphd.net department ranking where would Levitts economic interests land
  11. Well by safety I mean...easiest to get into...there is no safety in life...in undergrad i was rejected from University of Vermont and accepted at Penn and Cornell...
