  1. A, B & C are wrong because of parallelism error. Between D & E, D looks better.
  2. yes, you are right. i missed "that/who" part. thanks!
  3. I'm for E. Shouldn't we have 'those' to refer speeds in D?
  4. We can't remove the middleman in "one of the ___" structures. We use whats appropriate to ___ part. So, correct sentence would be: One of every two businesses fail during each year.
  5. If an & and are interchanged, E looks correct. I'm not sure why we need to have tax returns here.
  6. D & C. E looks awkward. Among the surest indications on Earth of sunspot cycles is believed to be the rate at which trees grow. "of sunspot cycles on Earth is" would've looked better.
  7. I would go with 1. We could've used "As did", if sentence were something like: As did many self taught artists, Perle Hessing painted..... Hope it makes sense.
  8. I was confused between A & D. I'll go for A. What's OA?
  9. Question seems to have some missing letters/punctuation. It would be great, if you post it again. Thanks!!
  10. Because it is melting of polar ice caps & the rising sea level. It needs rising of sea level to be parallel.
