Hello there kabayan! How to join in Tinos class? thru Skype? Nope, I already passed my NPTE. Just seeking for 26 score, if i can do it this time.

:D Hello fellow test takers! Here I am again back in the forum after 2 or 3 years of hibernation. The last time I took this dreaded exam was November of 2008, unfortunately didn't make 26 on speaking part. As the cliche goes " If you can't beat them, run against them..." LOL! I am here to seek, give advice and to help the community to pass the exam. I am planning to take it 2 months from now so lets get them fellow test takers!!!! GOD Bless us all!

The rescoring is only allowed once on that particular exam. but you can rescore your other exam. "And how many no. of times are we eligible to take the toefl?" You can take the exam as many times as you want, as long as you have the time,effort and of course the MONEY. This is how ETS works. God Bless!!

Ask first the instituion if you can have the toefl score later... But I think you should have the score first before they can admit you. Pls. give more info. on your situation.

This is totally getting out of control. I have the same issue before, I go for rescoring and it went down 2 oints but not 6??? This is really a matter of consistency. That's why sometimes I think if it's worth it to get this exam again. There are a lot of people who took the exam for how many times and up to now they are still seeking the score of 26. It is really a business! $150 is not a joke and if you summed up if you took the exam 8 times it's $1200. That will cost you a fortune. For you Nathaly, I will try complaining to BBB regarding this one. Hope everybody who has the same problem post their sentiments here. It's time to act before it's too late.

Well that sounds good. At least you have an option. But on what I've heard it's equally difficult. IELTS and TOEFL can be used in CGFNS for visa Screen but only for nurses. Thanks.

How much score do you need? Because if you rescore, they will send the new results on the university weather it became high or low. So try to rescore first then send it to your university.

Lionsoft, Only speaking and writing are allowed for rescoring....

To nataly, We are in the same situation.What profession are you in? Pharmacist or PT or nurse? Just got the result few days ago and I have a score of 24 and I need 26 too for my visa screen. I'm contemplating weather to take the rescoring or not on the speaking part.
