Hello, all I live in Los angeles area. I was told that they would finish reviewing the FPGEC in 3 weeks. My questions are 1. Can I start searching for internship after I ge the certificate. Will the sponsors consider to hire me before I get the intern License? 2. Can I start to do intern in california without the license? Will the hours be counted? 3. How long does it take for California Board to approve my intern license? Anyone has experience,please help to answer the questions. Thanks a lot. Have a nice weekend.

I am a foreign graduate too. I have the same concern. I phoned the CA board today, I was told I have to have experience in both kinds of pharmacy, no hour number is required for the in patient experience though. By the way, how did you find the internship. Thanks a lot.

I took TSE on Jan 17, got 55. The 4th attempt. Tips: getting good rest before the test, relax and be confident. Choose simple answers and speak fluently. I did not use any big words.

Dear chang Did you apply your license in California? When was that. Did you sign the Affidivate. I wonder how other people solve the problem. I emailed the CA board, they said I have to do intern in hospital, but there is no minimum hour requirement. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks

Dear Chang I just got an email from CA board. They said they do not waive the requirement of doing intern in institution. And institution means hospital. But they do not say how long do we have to do intern in hospital. I am very confused. How do people solve this issue. If I get license in other state and transfer it to CA after one year, they wouldn't require the hospital intern any more?

Maybe they changed rule since then? By the way, had you already got your intern license when you went to interview for the intern position? Or you just had FPGEC without intern license? Hello Is it easy to find intership in California?? A friend of mine suggested me to get license for the pharmacy technician first. I do not have idea if this is necessary. Hi, all I got a problem with the FPGEE application. The NABP reviewed my application and sent me a letter. It says the curriculum on my transcript appears not similar to that is required. And they want me to send documents to verify the problem. I studied almost all the courses for the test in a pharmacy school. I think the names of the courses on my transcript were not translated correctly by my university. Is there anyone nice to help me out? Can anyone send me a copy of your transcript. I just want to see what courses did you take and how did your school translate them. Is there anyone who has an idea about what courses dose NABP require, and do they have requirement for the teaching hour? I don't understand how "similar" it has to be. I greatly appreciate your help. *************
