why does Shortest Job always produce the minimum average response time? i thought it doesn't make a difference which job should be sent first?

hi guys the page size is s, and the size of a page table entry is e.what is the difference between s and e? second question when u say pe/s for table fragmentation plus s/2 (average for the last page the process uses).don't u count s/2 twice because it's already been counted among pe/s

hi guys according to definition of rr when process comes to system it is added to the tail of the queue and as far as i understood the task system always has n processes it means that when our one gets into the system one of the processes that were in system before leaves it. what make u think that quantum of rr equals 1?(one instruction per timeslice? does book have any convention about this matter?)

1)sorry but i didn't get why do i need at least one negation operator in order to achieve all possible combinations. do u mean that A){and,not} will give me {or,nor,nand} B){not,or} will give me {and nor nand} and etc. 2)does nor mean that we should deploy "or" and than apply not? 3) question 11 what is it dfa? and how it works thank u romanrostov666
