I took second power prep exam just a day before the exam and I got Q720, V610;
Yesterday, I went to real one and I got : Q 710; V 620;
After analytical writing, I got quants section. I was expecting verbal. I was nervous all along the quants and one point of time I could not even think almost sat there for 4 to 6 mins doing nothing. Thought of quitting the exam and come back for a second time. Slowly regained the composure (not fully) and almost completed 22 questions out of 28. For last 6 questions, I had 2 minutes, so I guessed and randomly picked, you know the game, right?
I was frustrated at myself for doing that and the reverberations continued to the verbal section. I always liked verbal but not anymore. My third question was a RC. I could not comprehend what the heck was going. SCs, antonyms and analogies helped me a lot to keep things in rhythm.
I do not bore you guys with my story. But one thing I learned is DO NOT GET NERVOUS. It is the no.1 test killer.
Note: On the test day, I went to test center with my driver's license and after signing papers, they informed me that I have to get my passport. Thankfully, my house was not far away from the test center and I was able to get it within an hour. Eventful day, isn't it?
Cheers and best of luck,
Kupp
