  1. You're advised to contact your intended grad/phD institutions for more info on what you're confused about.:)
  2. why are you so concerned about it?
  3. yeah, sorry, I'm not a native English speaker and not an IT-savvy guy either. Anyway, glad to see you know what I mean. Most other forums I've been using don't log me out after certain period of inactivity even if the "remember me" box is NOT checked. It's pitiful that you, as an admin, haven't found out how this forum works. Oh, by the way, as far as I know, the "forum cookies"--if that's what is technically accurately called--are also stored on users' computers.:)

    Moving

    UPS or DHL your stuff?
  5. Thank you for your explanation. But I'm still confused. Why not put it this way? And, why not ?
  6. Well, actually, there's an easier way to type the URL, just input gre.org and then Enter.:p
  7. Although you didn't really answer my question, I'm still grateful to you for the fact that you will keep it in your mind. Anticipating the upgraded forum, BTW.
  8. After being inactive for some time, we're automatically logged out and have to log in again, typing our user names and/or password. Would you be kind enough to prolong the interval?
  9. 3 days left, good luck to you, my fellow Chinese man.
  10. Hi, my fellow Chinese, to be honest, I can hardly read through your "composition" without skipping some sentences. As joy_mookerji put it, you really need to focus on your spelling and grammar first.
  11. From this post I guess you're an Aussie, or at least, someone that prefers Aussie English.
  12. I sense that one of the principles here is "God help those who help themselves."

I printed the pool of issue&argument topics from ETS website on Feb 2,2009. And I just finished marking serial numbers on my papers. There are 243 issue topics and 242 argument topics.
  15. And this is for Argument Topics. http://www.www.urch.com/forums/705494-post2.html
  16. Yo, have a look here! http://www.www.urch.com/forums/705490-post9.html
  17. Oh, that's weird. I uploaded this stuff at this thread http://www.www.urch.com/forums/gre-awa/12019-list-analysis-issue-topics-required-sr-no.html but I still can't download this stuff at this thread http://www.www.urch.com/forums/gre-awa/84811-new-tool-practising-awa.html Is upload/download function no longer "bundled"?
  18. sounds like very appealing stuff
  19. As a staunch supporter of American English and an unwavering opponent of British/Australian English, I don't have this problem. Not just spellings, certain phrases and sentences, I think even the grammar can sometimes be different. Whenever I read articles in British English-oriented newspaper, I always have to pause several times for grammatical reasons during the period of reading one article. Reading American English-oriented ones is much smoother.
  20. It sounds like a fair rule. But I doubt the nature of this, uh...let's just say "you have to give it before you can get it" mentality. Is this reminiscent of doing business among people?
  21. The discovery needs attention from both test-takers and test-makers.
  22. Why would you want to indent your paragraphs in the first place? Just use the following text format: Just when I thought...blah...1st paragraph ends. Use more advice from...blah...2nd paragraph ends. The economists say...blah...3rd paragraph ends.
