  1. i think it is D. what is the OA?
  2. Think it is C...what is the OA 1)no of VB professionals= 2*number of As400 professionals. This can be any combination (6,3)(10,5)(18,.9) Insuff 2) 5 work on AS400...pluggin this in statement 1 : VB professionals= 2*5=10 thus, number working in both=15-9=6 Hence , C
  3. 8) If a and b are positive integers such that a – b and a/b are both even integers, which of the following must be an odd integer? A. a/2 B. b/2 C. (a+b) / 2 D. (2+a)/2 E. (2+b)/2
  4. 3rd place-->15sec/hot dog 1st place --> twice the speed ---> 15/2 sec /hot dog Suppose, each person had "x" seconds to eat the hot dogs. therefore, 3rd place winner had x/15 hotdogs in x seconds and 1st place winner had 2x/15 hot dogs in x seconds From statement 1: 2x/15-x/15=24 Hence, we can find how many hot dogs the winner had. So C is the answer. What is the OA?
  5. The question says that in a test a positive result is the one in which it correctly indicates the result as positive when the chemical is present and also correctly indicates the result as negative if the chemical is not present. st 1: This states that 1 out of every 10 positive results are not true. (i.e the test indicated them to be +ve even though they were actually not positive) From this we cant derive anything since we dont know the number of positive results. st 2: This states that 90% of the results were negative. Thus, out of 1000 houses ---> 900 -->negative results & 100 ---> positve results Now, from st 1 we know that 1 out of every 10 positive results were not true. Hence, out of 100 positive results 10 are not true. But, we dont know the number of "not true" results from the tests that indicated negative (i.e 900 houses) Thus, E is the answer. Hope that helps!! Can u post the actual answer...
