Hey thanks, I already listen and speak with natives, but my problems is the pronunciation of the TH, I dont like too say it..and also words such as 'her hair' I cant say it fast. like, I can speak french, portuguese and italian, but english is the hardest to speak. lol I'm gonna try too improve in those TH and R followed by R :doh: thanks by the way, yeah i have already applied and I will start on setember.

hey all, I have already passed the TOEFL exam and got 23 on speaking, which is enough for me. However, I think I still have to improve on my pronunciation, and I still have little dificulties to say some sentences. What's the best way to improve prononciation ? thanks

Yeah, it takes approximately 3 weeks.. I took my exam on december 12th and received on january 6th.. good luck

Hey sspawn, I'm was lucky and got only 3 reading passages. however, I got a little extra listening passage, which was nothing because I was the first to start talking. As I was speaking o the third question, others started speaking as well, but it did not bother me at all because I barely could hear them. TOEFL doesn't require only fluency in english, it requires luck and confidence. I hope you have more luck if you need to do it again. But don't forget, confidence has to be taken into account...if you're confident, it's gonna be a lot easier..never mind if you are unsure at reading section, or listening.. forget it and try to do the best on the other sections. Hey sham, SD2007 is right. Note-taking is very important for all section except reading. try to watch the news on tv or at cnn.com, try to find a speaking partner with whom you can practice speaking as well as listening. Listening is indeed an important skill to master, and if you are good at listening your will achieve a very good score. So don't worry and start practicing :grad: When are you going to take again the exam ?? How many points do you need ?

Hey all, I finally got my results and I'm quite suprised :) I got 103 in my first attempt although I was going for 80 only! Here they are: Reading 26 Listening 26 Speaking 23 (fair,fair,fair) Writing 28 (good, good) I have already posted my experience here so, the only thing I have to say is: do NOT be nervous that you will be allright. :grad: Thanks everybody for the help given and I hope you guys can achieve your scores :tup:
