Dear Tina, It is also mentioned in the paper that they don't know how much time it will take for administrative processing. As soon as the administrative processing is over, then they will inform me. More over they suggest for keeping patienence.:mad:

Dear TM friends, Today I faced visa interview for F-1 visa. After the successful completion of interview part, the visa officer gave me a paper mentioning the following: “Your non-immigrant visa interview was successful and your visa has been conditionally approved. How ever, additional administrative processing is necessary” But it doesn’t mention how much will it take for administrative processing. Can any body give me some idea about this administrative processing and how much time will it take? More over my class will begin from Jan 20, 2009. So I am in a little bit tense. I appreciate your help.

I am going to pay my SEVIS I-901 fee for X University. I have the possibility to get admission to other universities. I visit their website and find that once I pay for one university the fee can be transferred for other university. But I don't find any time limit by which they confirm my transfer. Do they send me any confirmation letter? On more things, I heard that from 27th October there is a raise in SEVIS fee. If I paid for X University before October 27, 2008 and then later I decided to transfer it for other university, at that moment, do I need to pay additional fees? I appreciate your quick reply. My name is "Mohammad Abu kamal Sazzad" I write it in such a way: First Name: Mohammad Middle Name: Abu kamal Last Name: Sazzad But I find in the I-20 that First Name: Mohammad Abu kamal Last Name: Sazzad Therefore it seems to me a pb. Because in all my documents I wrote in my way. So can any one give me advice what I should do. B) Help for Fill F1 Visa form I am in a pb to fill my F1 visa forms. I already completed M.Sc Engineering. So I apply for PhD admission. I was in a job. But due to pressure I can't take preparation for TOEFL & GRE. So I resign the job in last October-07. I take preparation for test. Parallely I take preparation for MBA Program an university in my country. Fortunately I got admission in that university. From March the program is going on. Now the pb is should I inform in the VISA form about this study. If yes then question may arise why and how I leave it. I may not determined. Thank you, Tino, for your suggestion. But I have another problem. Please give me your wise decision. I was working in a firm about 2 years. I gave up it eight months ago and then I took preparation for TOEFL, GRE and admission prep for a MBA program. At last I completed the test and got admission to the MBA. I joined in that program which will take two more years to complete. Do you believe that is it smart choice to show this MBA program in my form. I think Counselor might question me about giving up this MBA program. Then what will be my answer? Moreover If I do not show the Program then if counselor asked me what I am now doing. Are Any of The Following Persons in The U.S., or Do They Have U.S. Legal Permanent Residence or U.S. Citizenship? Mark YES or NO and indicate that person's status in the U.S. (i.e., U.S. legal permanent resident, U.S. citizen, visiting, studying, working, etc.). My sister is a U.S. citizen. Should I expose this information? As far I know that there is a 100% probability of rejecting a visa if any one shows he or she has a family member in US. Please help me in filling these points. I find most of the graduate school start their review process from October. So plz help me, is it necessary for me to retake the exam. You know that TOEFL in new IBT system is harder than the CBT system. Also, the exam is costly.:hmm:
