Dear TM friends, Today I faced visa interview for F-1 visa. After the successful completion of interview part, the visa officer gave me a paper mentioning the following: “Your non-immigrant visa interview was successful and your visa has been conditionally approved. How ever, additional administrative processing is necessary” But it doesn’t mention how much will it take for administrative processing. Can any body give me some idea about this administrative processing and how much time will it take? More over my class will begin from Jan 20, 2009. So I am in a little bit tense. I appreciate your help.

I am going to pay my SEVIS I-901 fee for X University. I have the possibility to get admission to other universities. I visit their website and find that once I pay for one university the fee can be transferred for other university. But I don't find any time limit by which they confirm my transfer. Do they send me any confirmation letter? On more things, I heard that from 27th October there is a raise in SEVIS fee. If I paid for X University before October 27, 2008 and then later I decided to transfer it for other university, at that moment, do I need to pay additional fees? I appreciate your quick reply. My name is "Mohammad Abu kamal Sazzad" I write it in such a way: First Name: Mohammad Middle Name: Abu kamal Last Name: Sazzad But I find in the I-20 that First Name: Mohammad Abu kamal Last Name: Sazzad Therefore it seems to me a pb. Because in all my documents I wrote in my way. So can any one give me advice what I should do. B) Help for Fill F1 Visa form I am in a pb to fill my F1 visa forms. I already completed M.Sc Engineering. So I apply for PhD admission. I was in a job. But due to pressure I can't take preparation for TOEFL & GRE. So I resign the job in last October-07. Thank you, Tino, for your suggestion. But I have another problem. Please give me your wise decision. I was working in a firm about 2 years. I gave up it eight months ago and then I took preparation for TOEFL, GRE and admission prep for a MBA program. At last I completed the test and got admission to the MBA. I joined in that program which will take two more years to complete. Do you believe that is it smart choice to show this MBA program in my form. I think Counselor might question me about giving up this MBA program. Then what will be my answer? Moreover If I do not show the Program then if counselor asked me what I am now doing. I took GRE today and got 1290[Q-710,v-580]. Thanks to almighty. Special thanks to all TM friends. I think the quantative section have killed me. I never think I will get such score in quantative section. I got two quantative section. Both consist of max unusual questions. I think time management is an important factor in real GRE. I always completed my powerprep math portion with couple of minutes spare. But on real GRE, I have to made some guess because I don't have even time to read the questions.

skawal: I think the following approach will provide the answer of your quest. you know that the equation of a line which has an intercept 'C' is y=mx+c------------[1] eqn [1] passes through the points (a,0), (0,a) and (-3,-3) so, 0=am+c---------------[2] a=m*0+c =>c=a------------------[3] and, -3=-3m+c-------------[4] From [2] and [3] am+a=0 =>a[m+1]=0 Since, a/=0 , so m+1=0 [Got the ans of your quest] => m=-1 from [4] c=-6 from [3] c=a=-6 So the ans is B:hmm:

gre320hex: I feel myself to solve this pb in the following way: You know that everyday is consists of 24 hours. So, the number of hours must be a multiple of 24 and the ans is divisible by 24. But I don't try to do this because I don't have the middle two digits. One thing I can do is that I have the last two digits and I Know the last digit of 24. So, I must check if any of the last two digits is divisible by 4. I got only one which is divisible by 4, i.e. E. [20/4=5] I think this elaboration will help you:hmm:
