  1. I took my gmat today and got miserable 630 (47/31). Well i found i made mistakes in the quants while giving the exams but the verbal was going really good and i was surprised to see the low score. I practiced with OG 11 and Kaplan. i am planning to take the exam again in 2 weeks time. can you suggest me the best way to come out with this result?
  2. I have only few softwares to practice for my gmat. gmat prep, kaplan and power prep. can you suggest some more so that i am through with my gmat practice. i would love to have the links for download too.
  3. The solution is E. The question could be modified to say, is y>x? from I: insufficient from II: x+y=1 : insufficient combining both we have, x+y=1 and y>0 but we could have x=.5 and y=.5 or x=-1 y=2 so its not sure to say that y>x. Had it been said that x,y are integers, then C would be the correct answer.
  4. If they were integers we would have C. But here its E.
  5. Brilliant guys. I was wondering how this exactly fits but in the question we have that x,y,z are integers greater than 1. That is the clue. Good job.
  6. yes the unit digit as a result of power operation keep on repeating. in this case 4x returns 1 as the unit digit.
  7. Questions like such are so easily confusing. Thanks for the problem.
