The easiest way to solve this is by using 'work' formula:
M1 x D1 X W1 = M2 x D2 x W2
54 x 45 x 80 = 32 X 45 x 'X'
Therefore, 'X' = 135 (which is the # of times 32 cog wheel will rotate in 45 sec (3/4 of a minute).
To find # of times 32 cog wheel rotates in 8 secs = 135/45 * 8 = 24
Thats all !
IMHO, answer should be C
accuracy rate = (# of correct ones)/(Total # of tests)
From statement (2) => 8% has disease, so if we take a sample of 100 => 8 have disease and 92 do not have the disease.
From statement (1) => we can know how many are correct and thereby find the accuracy rate

Can any GMAT gurus here please reply to my question? Where can I find the 1000 DS and 1000 PS anwers? My DS and PS scores are pathetic. I need to work on them. :(
Guys, please help.....
-Mathew
Even though GMAT prep is closest to the real GMAT, I have seen some of my friends getting a +100 score in the real GMAT when compared to the GMAT prep score.
I think your real GMAT score also depends on your composure during the real test as well as at which percentile you are scoring in the GMAT prep. If you are scoring in the 730-770 range in the GMATprep, it is more likely that your final score will be close to that range and vice versa, if you are scoring in a lower range
Any rebuttal?

Thanks Guys....
I could view the answers of SCs, CRs, and RCs, but not that of PS and DS.
For PS and DS, clicking on the show/hidden icon is not updating the document. Is there a way to get answers for DS & PS?
