A good score in the subject test can always help you, and a bad score cannot harm you as you can simply chose not to forward the score to your selected universities. So, take up the Subject GRE test irrespective of your general GRE score. 2. Should you retake the general score? Again, depends on your last scores. f you have got more than 750 in QGRE and 500 in VGRE, then you might decide against retaking the test. Cheers

Kanishka, The quant part should be a cakewalk. You may start preparing for the quant part just 3 months before the test. However, I have a feeling you will need to put in good amount of efforts for the verbal /AWA section. So, if you are serious about GRE, start working on the verbal section right now. Cheers

Subject GRE tests are subject specific, timed, multiple choice question tests and are conducted in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Bio chemistry, Computer Science, Psychology and English Literature.
