i like the approach of Retake_GMAT.and it was mine too. the ans should be C.

3^k, here k indicates the how many three are there.right? now, 1 to 30 inclusive, how many 3 are there so that the product will be a multiple of 3^k and vice versa. how many 3 are there in the product of the integers from 1 to 30, inclusive.lets see. 3*6(i.e,3*2)*9(i.e,3*3)*12(i.e,3*4)*15(i.e,3*5)*18(i.e,3*3*2)*21(i.e,3*3*2)*24(i.e,3*8)*27(i.e,3*3*3)*30(i.e,3*10) we dont use the other integers coz they are useless for this problem and the factor is 3^k so we only consider that numbers which is a multiple of 3. so the ans should be 14.
