Hello! Is it your first trial to write a SoP ? may be you should look over the internet to find some examples. I am saying this because when I read you essay I had the feeling that it was kind of superficial. So you have to work more. few points though: - Your introduction is presumptions, it says that the robotics future is waiting for you to achieve. Instead try to talk about the different advancement and may be the areas that needs more research specifically. then try to explain why this area (specific or general) is exiting for you. (don't merely say that it is existing !) - Do not refer to a professor by his name but by his group's name. IMHO HTH
