  1. If you haven't bought them for your FPGEE (I assume you are a foreign graduate) they are sold at www.pharmacyexam.com but they are way too expensive to use just for statistics and pharmacoeconomics. I suggest you buy them from a foreign graduate for a cheaper price or borrow them from one. As for my exam experience, here's the link I wrote at http://www.www.urch.com/forums/naplex/122229-last-minute-advice-please.html If you have any questions please let me know. Good luck! :)

    Need your advise

An average of 1-6 months or more depending on your study rate, available spare time for studying and the period of time since you have graduated. Hope this helps, good luck :)
  3. i guessthe best thing to do is to read the chapters on pharmacoeconomics in cpr and manan shroff management and for statistics read the manan shroff 1000 q&a questions on statistics, study the questions and answers to get an idea about the subject. I think that's more than enough and that's what I did. Good luck! :)
  4. I suggest you study for it the same way you studied for the FPGEE. Don't spend much time on the very specific details like doses and dosage forms. Concentrate on the top 200 brand/generics, maths and the basics like mech. of action, side effects and drug interactions. Also, have a look at the drugs that may not have been mentioned in the CPR eg Miacalcin. Skim the chapters, at one point I was studying 3-4 chapters/ day because I didn't have much time. As long as you know your basics you'll be fine. Good luck and Ramadan Kareem to you too :)
  5. Hello Keffaz:My name is Ahmed and am from egypt...i would really appreciate it if you can give me some leads on how to best prepare for naplex in 40 days (that's how much time i have to the exam)....i got apha,kaplan,lang,prontopass...Please let me know.

    Thanks And Ramadan kareem

  6. Study it the same way you studied CPR, don't focus too much on the details...I didn't care to study the doses or dosage forms and while reviewing I tried to know the really imporant ones. Study your brand/generics well and maths as well and try to focus on counseling together with the basics: mechanism of action, major side effects & drug interactions. Hope this helps, good luck :)
  7. Thanks Pinky786! Wish you all the best as well, God bless you :)
  8. Actually I took that time off from work :) But thank God I was able to go through with it. By the way I forgot to mention that I also used Manan Shroff calculations for the Maths part.
  9. Thank ItalDoc! wish you all the best as well, start expecting your scores on tuesday :) Thanks pharma0712! The only questions I practiced were the ones at the end of the federal law book (there were about 400 I guess) and the Manan Shroff CD which was a collection of 150 Q&A in both state and federal laws.
  10. Thank God I passed both the NAPLEX and the MPJE! I got 77 on the MPJE, I studied one week for it. I used Federal Pharmacy textbook and review which was good but to tell you the truth I wanted to buy Guide to Federal Pharmacy Law which was out of stock at the time I was studying. I also used Manan Shroff law CD which wasn't really worth the money but it made me realize how important the state laws are. Finally I used one of my senior's state law book which she had already highlighted the important parts. Try to understand the federal law very well and apply it to your specific state law and apply the more stringent laws as usual. For the NAPLEX, I got 97 which was more than I expected given I study quite slow, but given the circumstances I had to study for the NAPLEX in roughly 5 weeks. I used APhA and Appleton and Lange Q&A only. I had recently finished my FPGEE on October 2009 so I was quite familiar with the basic concepts. I had to stress on the brand names because I only had 300 hours of internship so I didn't have much time to know them by experience. I just want to thank everyone here for all their help and a special thanks to ItalDoc and CatalinaB who helped me so much and I really wish them all the best in the MPJE. Please if anyone needs help regarding either test or FPGEE please ask and I'll be glad to help. God bless you all and good luck with your careers :) Keffaz
  11. Hey Cracknaplex I got your PM but your inbox is full. Just try to focus on your state laws, that's the main focus of the exam. The questions could be tricky so read the questions and answer choices well. Two hours is just enough time so pace yourself well and last but not least be confident in yourself and try to have a good night's sleep. Good luck :) Keffaz
  12. Actually I rescheduled my NAPLEX to be on the 10th but thank God I passed the MPJE. I'll talk about both when I get my NAPLEX scores so that I could have a better idea of what to say about them :) Good luck!
  13. Hey salam alaykom Ahmad, I am in WA too. And Rite Aid agreed to let me to my internship with them and then work as a pharmacist, in the Renton/Kent area. So anyway, they told me to start studying for the NAPLEX. Is the NAPLEX harder than the FPGEE? I studied for 6 months for the FPGEE and I got 135. Now I feel so lazy and I don't know how seriously I should study for the NAPLEX. You don't have to answer me now because I understand you're very busy studying. But please let me know how your exam went and what's your advice for me. Plus if you want to sell your books for the NAPLEX. I would also like to know about the MPJE - like how much time to study and which is more difficult, NAPLEX or MPJE.

    Inshallah you do well. HB

  14. Hi Guys! Same question but for NAPLEX this time! If anyone has any tips for the NAPLEX please share them with us. Any help will be gladly appreciated! :) Thanks in advance! Ahmed
  15. Thanks for your wishes...it was a tough one today! A lot harder than what I expected...just hope I pass. Still got 11 days for NAPLEX
