  1. Make sure your practice pronto pass calculations on a daily bases and understand what you are calculating. But in general pronto pass calculations is very good for NAPLEX. I used it and can highly recommend it.
  2. Hi, Advise to all. Read every page in the APHA. I got questions from every where. Please please just read all the pages it does not hurt to read them but rather usefull. I can assure you that i got calculations from compounding which i thought was not relevant and yes the burned me there with about 4 questions. Thank God i read it and had an idea how to calculate the 4:2:1. With the new blue print i will not advise anyone from skipping a topic in APHA. hope this helps.
  3. Hi Temp, Thank you very much. I thought so too.. When are you taking the NAPLEX or you have already gone through that process and enjoying the fruit of your labour? Take care
  4. Hi Congratulations? Does any body know the formula to calculate serum albumin levels?. If so can they post it here for me. I am also trying to understand the null hypotesis, Relative risk calculations, P Values, the power and number needed to treat, and number needed to harm. Are they ralevant for the exams i guess so. Thanks for any hint.
  5. Pronto pass user, Where are you? when do yo plan on taking the naplex? I am willing so let me know. Take care
  6. Hi Everybody, Congratulations to all those who took and passed the NAPLEX in March. For those who did not pass please do not feel sad. You will certainly make it the second go around. I want to know if taking the pre naplex is a good idea or not. I plan on taking the Naplex this month or early next month. My feeling is that when you take the pre-naplex they get to know your weakness and that is the area they test you most. Does anybody have any idea about the whole issue?. My second questions is where can i go to study about stats for interperating clinical studies? . I will be glad if somebody can reply to this thread promptly. Thanks to you all and please wish me good luck. I feel like i do not know nothing. I cannot take any day off from work because i do not want anybody to know that i am taking it. Just want to surprise everybody. Hopefully i do not surprise myself. lol.
  7. Well, That is what i thought, but i have heard both theories from most people. Do not know which one to believe. Hope all is Good. Good luck to you all who just took it. Share more of your experience. What were you asked to calculate? I mean those without possible answers to choose.
  8. I did not take the exams but i wish you all the best of luck and hope you all make it. I am going to start preparing for june. For those of you who took the exams what will be the ideal material to use in preparation for the first part of the exams? ( basic). Any help will be highly appreciated.. Once again thanks and good luck to everybody.
