gud to hear someone taking side of columbia ( i personally like columbia better)...bt from wht i have heard on some orkut communities --there's great option for placemnts only for ms in finance n economics guys in columbia and tht EE companies r nt to be seen around there ..while usc does have a better case than tht.. columbia have only MS program to offer right? ..MEng, i didnt see tht..

hmm, for me only thing to consider right now is the placement scene after MS , if usc is better or columbia in tht...

@pradeey well USC is ranked around 13 in EE ranking so it should be gud ... need to ask one thing--did u send financiall support doc before u got ur admit, or do we have to show tht at visa time only ...

@kushagara dude isnt cornell MS program ranked higher than columbia? how come u r considering columbia seas then ... i have to choose between USC and columbia MS in electrical eng if u could suggest...

recco prof's are well reputed, recco will contain project description also which i have done under them beside other regular stuff,if thts wht a strong LOR means. as mentioned before, i did some projects under college courses and internship too .... mostly related to communication so i can cry abt them in my SOP ,bt no papers published. and im gonna apply in communication field.waiting for reply....... @aryansmit3754 :hmm:wht can i say, i agree with you.
