  1. were you accepted for FPGE?

  2. Hi Jigneshpatel,

Please go ahead and ask the questions. I will try my best to answer them. :)

  3. Hii Knok... I am planning to apply for FPGEE . I have couple of doubts in my mind and I hope you can help me so I want to make it clear with you if you don't mind.
  4. Hii ... Nice to see you in this forums . I am also preparing for FPGEE exam. I would like to discuss some topics related to our study.
  5. Hii .. I am having the same situation . I have completed my B.Pharm after 2003 from India. So NABP wont allowed us to practice here. I dont think that they need straight 5 year Pharm.D program because everyone in the us is free to study anytime... but we need to make it confirm.. And from this year the Pharm.D program is also started in India. But the question is the NABP allowed the Indian Pharm.d Students to get FPGEC ? If they allowed indian Pharmacy students who will be Pharm.d then its best way to save money and time also .....cz its hard to get admission in Pharm.D in USA.. I think everyone after 2003 has to make everything confirm... Thanking you guys..
  6. @ VVFONG First of all thanks for your kind reply. I got some solutions from your answers. You are really appreciated. And I evaluated my transcript with evaluation services and it says my indian degree is quivalent to USA BS in pharmaceutical Science. I still have some questions. 1. Your eduation system is . High school + 2 year Pre Pharmacy + 4 Year bachlors in pharmacy ? thats what i understood from your answer , is it correct ? Total is 18 years from where you started ur study ... rt ? 2. And have you applied for NABP to get FPGEC certification ? Thank you so much for your interest and reply . Thanking you, Jignesh .
  7. "Hi goldbird! First of all thanks for the reply, at least somebody actually said something back. Regarding my post, here's the deal: 1)I graduated from the Philippines 2)4-year BS Pharmacy Degree (There's no such thing as pre-pharmacy here. Immediately after high school, you'll enter the 4-year curriculum then graduate with a BS degree) 3)a. According to ECE, the BS Program here is equivalent to their high school and the Doctor of Pharmacy Program is equivalent to that of their BS Program. b. Normally, it will take you 4 years of study then you'll take the licensing in order to become a pharmacist here. It's really up to you if you'll choose to take the post baccalaureate degree (PharmD) after for 2 more years. Basically for my case, I have a total of 6 years Pharmacy Program. I hope this makes sense. Thanks again. God bless." Hii National, I have the same situation as of yours. I am confused what to do. My profile is as under: I have completed my 4 year Pharmacy in INDIA after a highschool and my degree is BS in pharmaceutical Science as per USA education system. Can you help me to answer my doubts. 1. Are you doing Pharm.d in Phillipines ? Is this degree is valid in USA to get a pharmacist licence ? Means its equivalent to USA pharm.D degree ? Have you confirmed with anybody ? 2. Do you know anybody who has the same situation and successfully registerd as a Pharmacist in USA ? 3. As of my knowledge foreign students required 5 year undergraduate coursewor to sit for FPGEE and to get certification FPGEGC ? am i right ? Are you in this criteria ? 4. Can you briefly give your country's education system that helps me a lot to think . your reply is appreciated . Thanks.
  8. Hii VVFONG , Nice to see your thread here, mine has the same story. So I want to share something with you and give your best answers if you can. My profile is as under: I have 4 year pharmacy undergraduate coursework from India and i am not eligible to sit for FPGEE. My degree is equivalent to BS in pharmaceutical science degree of USA . Morever, I have few questions : 1. What is the ECE report states in your case ? I am confused regarding that statement like " I have a 1 year equivalence of pre-pharmacy coursework" what is that means ? 2. Because the NABP rules states clearly that any foreign pharmacist need 5 year pharmacy undergraduate curriculam to go for FPGEE . and i think you studied 4 year of pharmacy right ? means after 12th grade as per US schooling system . 3. What is A-level , 1 year pre university , 2 year pre university in Malaysia ? 4. how you contacted the Dean of Ohio to sit for FPGEE exam ? you cleard your doubt about the FPGEC certification with NABP, because the FPGEC certification is the important step to get licence in USA. Thanks and your response is appreciated .
