  1. try pharmacyexam.com and prempje.com Read barry reiss book.
  2. Don't worry about remembering molecular weight, they give you that information. However, they won't provide you valency information.
  3. You should concentrate first 45 questions. NAPLEX is CAT (Computer Adaptive Test). Try to answer 90% correct answer (first 45 questions), 75% (46-90 questions), 60% (90 to 185 questions) to score more than 100.

    I m sorry..

Hey Guys, I am very sorry that I couldn't reply all the posts and messages because I got really busy with my new job. I worked in both environment retail and hospital, and I love being a hospital pharmacist. I do vancomycin dosing, TPN adjustments, coumadin INR interpretation, CrCL dosing. In FL, I can write few antibiotics prescriptions according to hospital PTE policies. Once again, I am very sorry guys. I will try my best to check this forum. Best luck for your tests.

I believe my strong education in Pharmacy, and experience would make me a strong candidate for this position. Sincerely, Your Name..... R.Ph. Enclosure: resume
  7. Why are you applying for this job? member of health care career in health care field Talk us through your career to date What can you do for the hospital? Research articles I wrote few research articles when I was doing MS related to new drugs and drug interactions which could help me to do better pharmacist’s responsibilities for your hospital. I am well updated with new rules and new drugs of the current pharmacy field. What sort of person are you and will you fit in here? Self motivated Team worker Enthusiastic What makes you different from the rest of the interviewees? Lecturer Computer skills I was a lecturer and therefore, I have all the information fresh in mind. I could handle patient couseling very well. Tell us about yourself Why are you applying to this hospital in particular? It was rated the top hospital in 2010 (check) I heard many good things about it ( ex. I was in ny york any hear about it ) Why did you leave/want to leave your last job? It is just a part time position , and it is temporary, that is the place I completed my internship. Where do you see yourself in five years from now? I don’t have a specific plan! I would like to advance. However, I am flexible. I will do my current job to the best of my ability and keep my eyes open for opportunities within the organization to advance even if it means changing roles. I am prepared to learn new things and contribute to the overall success of the organization in a number of ways. What is your greatest weakness? I like to make sure that my work is perfect, so I tend to perhaps spend a little too much time checking it. However, I've come to a good balance by setting up a system to ensure everything is done correctly the first time. What are your strengths? What motivates you? Why did you choose pharmacy? What has been your greatest achievement to date? How would you describe yourself? How would your friends or colleagues describe you? Can you give us an example of when you have had to work to tight deadlines in your working career and how you dealt with it? Give us an example of a project you have undertaken and how you managed it. Core pharmacy functions include some routine and mundane elements that require attention to detail. Can you demonstrate, through experience in your working career, your ability to cope with these important elements of the job? Like most busy departments, we sometimes face stressful situations. Can you give us an example of when you have had to cope with stress, in a working or social context, and how you dealt with it? In most pharmacies the only thing that does not change is the need to change. Please give us an example of where you have had to deal with change in your working career and how you dealt with it. One of the key aspects of this role is managing people. Please give us an example of where you have had to deal with a problem with a member of your team and how you solved it. Everybody has to deal with disappointment, or even failure, occasionally in their career. Can you give us an example and tell us how you dealt with and what you learnt from it? You are the only pharmacist in the dispensary. There is a consultant at the hatch wanting to write a private prescription, a medicines information query on the phone, an item to be checked for the waiting porter and an outpatient requiring counselling. How would you handle this situation?
  8. Thank you very much guys... I have sample covering letter... Please send me PM if anybody needs it... Thanks again... Best luck to you guys..
  9. If drug brand names have XR, CR, SR, DR like suffix (special ends with "R"), then that drug cannot be crushed... ODT = Orally Disintegrating Tablets/waffers... This universal rule does not apply for these categories of drug (buccal drugs). There are few exceptions... metoprolol succinate... Toprol XL... I don't remember one other drug but on naplex digest they have asked one question on that drug.
  10. Hi Ginas,

Congratulations on getting Job Could you please send me sample of resume and covering letter to arorarakh@gmailcom. Your help will be appreciated

  11. Guys... It is really tough to find a pharmacist job (retail, part time, full time or even per-diem) in Florida. I've completed my all exams in october and I am licensed since october 2009. I tried all the possible ways to find a job. I gave three interviews at different places. At first place they were offering me $35/hr and no extra money for overtime and 40 hrs five days a week (gainesville). Second place was target pharmacy, they said that they need experienced one.. and they found better than me. At last, I applied to small hospital which is located at lake city and they offered me a job today... I got relieved finally. Finally, I am a hospital pharmacist.... My suggestion is - do not apply through the agencies.... that's just waste of time. I am registered with all per diem agencies. They take all your information, in return, they will never call you even after few months. Best thing to do is go to simplyhired.com and make a job alert. They will send you all new postings to your email. Another good site is monster.com and try to find local hospitals or pharmacies websites and send them your resume and covering letter BY BOTH ways... I hope this will help you... Best luck guys.... please feel free to write me....
  12. Hi, Guys leave your review on this new look. My comments: This new look is pretty cool, but it is hard to find things like certain posts.. I think we will be fine after using it for few more days... [clap] Thanks to the forum moderators for working hard...
  13. You don't need to federal laws for naplex. I didn't read the biotech or sterile products. But I read the USP 797 chapter (sterile pdts).
  14. Wow... Our all communication data is gone.. I don't know now how new candidates will get old info. Thanks erin for your valuable efforts to keep running this forum.
  15. Nice suggestion. By reading these basic stuff, you would get about 80 to 95. But rahman is right if you want to score above 110 then avoid manan and other stuff. read only CPR, remington, Roger walker, Rang and dale... and the most all-exams... I planned my way ... revising alot of stuff... Best luck you guys...
