  3. A-> negates the idea of democratic govt of all voices have equal chance to be heard. B-> aggrees with the argument that people should be free to spend within broad limits C-> doesnt agree with govt subsidization(ref: stimulus) D-> doesnt agree with "people should be free to spend" E-> some candidates cannot spend the same as others due to their financial limits(ofcourse this my common sense, I shouldnot bring it in, but couldnt think of any other reason, someone please advise if the approach is wrong) So correct ans is B, please advise if approach is any mistakes above thankx
  4. A -> stimulus doesnt mention about other retirement plans B -> stimulus doesnt mention about other retirement plans C-> refers to something else D-> stimulus doesnt mention about any employers E-> this is within the limits of arguments scope. rightly poses the area of criticism So E is the correct answer. 5. Hey, I m yet to write gmat and I myself am trying to findout how to tackle the test better but I just want to give you my thoughts about the score. you got 670 which is a good score(cant say it as better score, as you know) but, as you are saying that you are an entrepreneur and you have good things to boast abt you. If you are confident that you can make a strong application out of your achievements and experience then 670 is a good score and I m sure that 670 will not make your application weak. From your words it also shows that you have a very good reason for 'why you want to do an MBA' .It looks like you have got a good application to make to most of the good B-schools, unless you are aiming for Harvard/Wharton etc.
  6. I think 1/5 is correct ans, the way ManSab explained.....
  7. I think by v3-k3 he meant v(cube) - k(cube)..... becoz giving v-k value and asking 3(v-k) value is too good to be a gmat question....

  10. this was my approach, I know its brute force but couldnt think of any, I assumed it as 2root2 = root 8 and root 6 which gives 64 + 36 =100, and which gives an answer of 0-3, but gmatprep says its 3-6 ??? Please tell me how to approach such type of problems....
  11. Think its C.... Suppose it takes N days to equalize he savings and storage costs for n days then nx = (ny)N N=x/y nx = savings (ny)N = storage costs for N days feedback welcome....
