  2. Is there anything grammatically wrong with B or it is gramatically correct but not "efficient enough to express" its meanings...
  3. B would have been true if question was asked about getting injured in an accident... But question being asked is getting severely injured if an accident occurs. Hence A...

  5. I am not sure... but some business schools require 80 percentile for both verbal and quantitative sections... Your verbal score is a bit low... It would have been better if you had scored something like q45 v40.... An excellent score , anyways... Good luck...
  6. ManhattanCAT1 : 680 q48 v35... I tried two tests from Kaplan before and scored 550 and 570... I am not sure which results are more accurate... In any case, my target score is 700 and I still need to work a lot especially on verbal...

  8. The total cost of producing item X is equal to the sum of item X's fixed cost and variable cost. If the variable cost of producing X decreased by 5% in January, by what percent did the total cost of producing item X change in January? My question is: If change in fixed cost in not mentioned, should we assume it to be unchanged or not ?
  9. IMO it is C... But D doesn't seem wrong either... Any explanation will be warmly welcomed....
  10. "amount of fines" and "number of fines" are both grammatically correct here. But logically, amount of fines seems more appropriate... The question is not CR so I am not sure if we should be using our reasoning is SC questions...
  11. Acually, I will appreciate if someone tells me what is the main reasoning in the argument... Point 1, 2, or 3...
  12. Touch one... There are three different attacks on the Daily Standards' criticism: 1. Same source have a history of unwarranted criticism. 2. Anyone who have read the novel will agree that criticism was unwarranted. 3. All the incidents, hero was involved might happen to anyone hence it is plausible... A: Seems correct for point 1. B: seems correct for 2. C: Related to criticism#1 but "intellectual integrity" is yet another assumption. OUT D: Unrelated. OUT. E: Not the case: OUT I am equally confused on A and B...
