I hope you are right blueser... But I don't think so because when I checked the results on GC most of the people who were rejected learned from website... I only saw couple admissions from website on masters not PhD. i was low ranked on wait list also. At least relatively lower than the number of admits from waitlist last year...

You may review the decision after 8:00 a.m. PST on April 5, 2011, by accessing your UC Davis application on the online admission web site. Please contact the Economics program if you have any questions regarding this decision. Best regards, Office of Graduate Admissions and Academic Services University of California, Davis Did any of you guys familiar with this message? Is it a good sign or a bad sign? ( I have a feeling that it is a bad sign)

Hey baj; do you have any idea if they are going to send out more acceptances. I did not hear anything from them yet, like most of the other TMers. That silence is driving me crazy...

I asked my rank on the wait list. And mine is also relatively low :( and he also said the should be resolved in next two weeks...

Thank you so much for your info. It is helpful. Did you ask him about your position on waitlist? Or he just mentioned to you? I emailed him and he didn't mention anything to me about the info's that he mentioned to you. He just requested my transcript with Fall grades. After that I emailed him couple of days ago if there is any improvement on my chances to get off from the waitlist but he didn't get back to me yet. hopefully it will work out for both of us and we can get into there...

still waiting for BU, ASU, Pitt, UCSD, UNC-CH, and Davis. But I am not hopeful. I think I am out of the game this year... :(

For development; definitely USC. John Strauss is there. And as far as I know every year PACDEV is being held in California. You will have a really good connections, especially with the UC and Stanford's development professors...

Unfortunately, i did not hear anything from ASU yet. And I don't know when they are gonna finalize their list. I know my chance is too slim to get into ASU at that point but I wanna hear from them. that stress is killing me... Last week they said they will announce it soon. The week before last week they said we will make the decisions at the end of the week. And they didn't say anything yet. Frankly, I am soooo desperate.... :(:(:(
