Actually your overall application matters and not the score. Anyway the guys going to engineering or related subjects, the important thing is your quant score, u need more than 770 in quant and more than 550 in verbal for top ranking univs. thats what I have seen at many places. but u should also have super recommendations , sop, acads, and many other things like projects etc. so there is no point in taking GRE again! I was thinking of getting around 1400+ coz I did well in the powerprep tests, but I was unable to do proper time management. I was well in time management in all practise tests but I do not know what happened in the real test. Maybe due to three RC passages.........Thats y I lost 20 point in quant and 10 points in verbal. Hi I have exactly one month for GRE and have done 42 WLs from barrons. I forget about 15 to 20 words from each......so am revising that. Issue of prime importance is that I have met two categories of people regarding their opinions about the verbal section. one group says that you will find only 2-3 words from barrons in the actual test.....rest u have to manage from other sources. so they suggest me to do some 1000-2000 words from other sources. Another group says that just do barrons and most of the questions will be from it. Now.....since I do not know how to deal with this problem and I have one month from now and I have described my situation above, please help me out from this dilemma. Thanks Dimitra
