  1. Hi doitin, As mentioned in the earlier post, I referred various sources for verbal practice. Since I was a bit weak in verbal, I made a daily routine of practicing around 25-50 questions of verbal. Practicing from different sources is important, as each book has its own distinct flavor of questions. for eg. one book may have SC that has more questions in Subject-Verb agreement area, while another book's SC may focus more on Pronoun errors. Practicing from various sources ensures that one is equally comfortable with all different varieties of questions. (To reiterate from previous reply), For Verbal, I used (in order of importance, as per my experience) OG 12(CR + RC + SC + Basics) Manhattan SC (SC Basics) LSAT papers (CR + RC) OG 10 (SC) OG Verbal(CR + RC + SC) Kaplan 800(CR + RC + SC)
  2. Hi beyond, Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!!! My engineering background did help me with Quants a lot, so I didn't use any books as such, except for Kaplan 800 and OG12. I guess that Quant in the practice tests and a couple of books should suffice for those who have a maths background. -rockon4gmat
  3. Thanks isman.. I found that GMATPrep is by far the closest in terms of score accuracy.. I took the GMATPrep 3 times(3 times 2 tests), and my scores in last 4 GMATPrep attempts, made in last 3 weeks, ranged from 740 to 780. As with other tests, MGMAT is quite a close indicator. So is Knewton's Free Test. Kaplan is quite off in terms of scores, but its Verbal is good. Hi gimmeenergy, Thanks. For Verbal, I used (in order of importance, as per my experience) OG 12(CR + RC + SC + Basics) Manhattan SC (SC Basics) LSAT papers (CR + RC) OG 10 (SC) OG Verbal(CR + RC + SC) Kaplan 800(CR + RC + SC) Thanks Canadian phd !!!
