Is it correct to use "from among" with verbs like: "love", "like", etc., to express and emphasise preference of one object over others? E.g., could we say/write:
"From among a great number of people, we like only certain ones, rather than others
or should we say/write:
"Among a great number of people, we like only certain ones, rather than others"
Which one would be correct/more correct?
