this is question #9 from the powerprep. much thanks, see attached. how can you determine that the two areas are equal?

If you have the powerprep software, this is question #7 from Quantitative Comparison set 2. ie. "In the xy plane the point (o,a) is the center of the circle and the points (b,c) and (d,e) are on the circle" column a: b^2 + c^2 column b: d^2 + e^2 please explain how the answer is b. See attached
