MIT made offers already for marketing

Drmarketing, I'm not sure about quant, but my understanding is that Sloan only takes 1-2 marketing people total a year. The whole marketing area met early next week to decide on offers, but I'm not sure how many they gave out this year.

agree with phdhope-- there is a significant difference between the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. The nice thing about getting an early offer is that you might (emphasis on might) be able to use it as some leverage to try and get a faster response from a school you might prefer to go to. There is certainly precedent for that

some (not sure if all) prospective candidates have already been invited to campus interviews

I heard a rumor that they're interviewing, although their website says interviews aren't a part of the process...anyone else know anything about this?
