710 is a bit less.. Try if you can get 780+. If you want to be in top 10 then Quant score does matter a bit but top universities want an research paper to be published. Without any Paper or publication . Its gonna be difficult for you to get in Top 10.

Try improving on Quant. But let me tell you that GRE score doesn't matter much. You should give it a shot @760. Your good acad can save you

All my responses were completed with 10-12 seconds left and yet I got 28. TOEFL rates dont see the length they see your ability to present ideas verbally. As far as the W is concerned . I got " Has the present fast changing world made people less happy/satisfied". seriously WTF. I am 22 yrs old. How could I write on this topic. I never lived in the old slow changing world.. I dint have any thing to write. But still I got 22.. Thanks to Integrated Task. I only used the Official guide to TOEFL , nothing else. Remember, No amount of cramming will get you good marks in TOEFL. English is a art.. Learn It . Live It. Love it..

Right. They check your ability to communicate in English. But what if you don't have an idea of what to write?? Raters will assume that either you didn't understand the topic or were not able to express them. I know I could have scored 110+ but when I saw this topic. I knew It wont be 110+ now. Hi, I had my TOEFL scheduled on 22nd. There were 20 people giving TOEFL on the same day at my center and halfway through the exam the network broke down and we were disconnected. The rest was restarted but the same happened again 3 times. Then we were told that the test will be rescheduled. I have nearing dead lines. Can someone with a similar experience guide us.. Can we ask TOEFL to write an email to universities where we are applying to accept the delay in our scores

I can retake the test but dont want to go through all that hell again. Can I suppliment a lower verbal with high TOEFL score. As my Stream is engineering. We are mostly concerned with Quant not Verbal.

I got 450 in verbal and 780 in quant. AWA waiting. Will a TOEFL score of 100+ (iBT) compensate for lower verbal ??

Wrote my GRE today. Got 780 in Quant and 450 in Verbal I have a CGPA of 8.4 and Good SOP/LOR's I am an Mechanical Engineering Student. Yet to write TOEFL. Is this Score enough to get admission to a decent University if not then can I supplement it with high TOEFL score and Good AWA (expecting) or should I rewrite it..
