What is it? At high and low PHD schools. in Marketing levels. Ballpark figure. What the heck do people do when they don't pass?

So do any of these have any meaning? GMAT, Age, Nationality, GPA/phd, unique Marketing research subjects, attractiveness, handicap,

Any non-ballers here?

What are the factors besides school?

Or just the top ones after the first year? Is it just pass, or see-ya?

I was very shocked to get accepted to Marketing at Rutgers, considering I have only heard from 1 of my 8 other schools(All these schools are ranked worse. 75-100 in the research rankings) Obviously, I didn't get funding, and I just found out they accept a lot with few getting funding. I also found out that they have that test in the first/second year, and few of the students pass. Just being candid, but I know that I'm at the lower "skill/smarts" of the PhD group. I have till April 15th. I'm guessing I'm on the waitlist at others because they haven't rejected me yet. Should I email the others now? If I get in to any of the others, is it worth going to a worse/off school if I'm more comfortable? The other schools are: Missouri, Texas/Arlington, Kent State, FAU, Rhode Island, ODU. Nothing great, but still recongnized schools. thanks

Seriously. Just give denials already. I don't understand the wait.

Why would a school not send a rejection letter (or post something online?)

Have heard from 1 of 11 schools in 6-7 weeks since I sent out apps. I know 6-7 weeks isn't that long of a time, but wouldn't the definate NO's and definate Yes have heard by now?

Either that or they are holding on to my application for laughs.

Piparoo- 2 Interviews? You probably got in. I just hope I wasn't too general in my personal statement.

February 1st due date and heard back 2 days ago. A- You application stunk, or you were into the Definite No pile from the start B- There was at least 1 mandatory thing you didn't have: (GPA or GMAT was under a certain score, You didn't get a recommendation from a research professor) C- They made their decisions real quick, and they didn't have a ton of applicants(This isn't a top 50 school). D- Could be a mixture of those 3 or something else. E- I'm going to go 0 for 11, and I should prepare for working the cashier line at Wendy's

How are the scores of international business different than the other business subjects scores? And what do you mean about the next level up?

I have not heard anything from them because I sent my stuff in right at the deadline. I'm guessing I'm going to get a no, but I did apply to 10 schools. I have a low gpa from a mid 50's MBA school and a 690 gmat.
