thank you so much scarygirl i did the live scan and i made a copy of the certificate and i sent it yesterday and now im waiting for them to get it. Do you know if i can apply for a job as an intern from now?

Hebes123 and Isa thank you both so much, i contacted the board and they told me to qualify for a California intern license, foreign graduates must: a. Be certified by the FPGEC. b. Submit a completed intern application (which includes: Rules of Professional Conduct, fingerprint background check, processing fee and a copy of the FPGEC certificate). c. Provide their social security number to the board i downloaded the application but there this part '' INTERN PHARMACIST EDUCATION AFFIDAVIT '' This form must be completed by the Dean of the college. All dates must include the month,day, and year in order for the form to be accepted. Does this part apply for foreign graduates as well ? i believe not but it says i have to fill it all out so can i just skip this part? can somebody help me with the filling of this application please?

hi sms123 i was surprised that i got my certificate today in the mail ! they told me it takes from 8 to 10 weeks from the day they started the final review which was on April 4th and today its April 20th! so it took me exactly 16 days to receive it which was too soon but thank god it was this early ! i contacted the CA board of pharmacy and they told me to fill out an application online so thats what i was trying to do it is 11 pages long but for some reason i found it some how complicated ! the part where it says '' REQUEST FOR LIVE SCAN SERVICE '' i really lost it there i didn't know what that was for and also '' INTERN PHARMACIST EDUCATION AFFIDAVIT '' must be completed by the Dean of the college. All dates must include the month day, and year in order for the form to be accepted.! does this apply to foreign graduates as well? ! do i fill it out and print it all out and send them to the board with a copy of my certificate? can u please help me on that and tell me what else i can do i would really appreciate your help because i asked a lot of people i called 2 pharmacy intern coordinators and i left so many messages but non of them even called me back or replied to my emails !

thank you so so so much for your help i really appreciate the time you took to reply back to my post, i just sent them an email asking them if i can do that. I've been through so much its been almost a year since i started my application with the NABP and every time i think i finished one step i go back to square one ! finally after all that i'm done and now waiting for the certificate but i just don't know what the next step will be, i mean when i get it by mail what should i do next ? i contacted CVS so many times i tried leaving messages for the intern coordinators and i never got a call back, i tried pharmacies in Target, walmart and rite-aide but no one knows anything and no one gave me an answer !
