but sir i want to enrol into a phd program. Please help me with that. My scores are good keeping in mind the education system of my country. my profile is going to BA, Ma, PGDPM. Will it not be good enough?

I am pursuing post graduate diploma in personnel management which is equivalent to mba here. I am also pursuing A in english. I can assure you that if I need to fill some gap in my communication skills, i will do that. I can't opt for a Master's program because i am already into it. Yes, English is a second language to me but still i dont have any problems with it because I have always been English medium Schools and Colleges. I hope to be more comprehensible in the time to come.

what makes you think that i have a major deficit in my written communication abilities in English? see if you can't help me its alright but please don't leave such derogatory remarks. without understanding the question you just comment for the sake of commenting. what i asked was the average score of people pursuing english honours in america. as far as scoring in GMAT or GRE is concerned i would not like to comment about that but yes i will post my scorecard in the forum for you to see.

how much marks do students of english honours get in america ?

could you please suggest at least 10 schools with a good phd program in OB which could take me in but please make sure that they provide financial aid covering all expenses because i dont have any other way to cover those expenses. please help me out with this...

my problem is that i dont have funds so i will have to search for a funded program or some scholarship to help me out. could you please suggest, if i wish to do a masters in psychology from stanford, what financial help may i get and from where.

i mentioned that the class highest gpa was 2.25 and mine was 1.95 and the best colleges in india have an average gpa in english honours below 1.75 so considering all these aspects my gpa isnt bad but if looked as only gpa leaving aside all these aspects then it seems to be low. percentile wise i have 80th percentile. my teachers think positively about me so i am sure of getting good recommendations and i will do everything i can to score above 90th percentile in GRE/GMAT and i will also write a strong statement of purpose. but still i am concerned because there will be people who would have better profile than me so will i stand a chance then? my dream is going to stanford.i will apply in 2012 end but i am preparing from now only because i dont want any stone to be left unturned. hope it all goes well. please keep replying as it really helps a lot in self assessment.

hello, i am Kumar Pratik from India. i have graduated from St.XAvier's College with english as my honours subject and am currently pursuing post graduate dilpoma in Personnel Management from XISS and also MA in english from Indira Gandhi National Open University. my marks have not been outstanding and rather average i should say.Here the study is only marks oriented and not knowledge oriented. i am very much intrested in studying the complex of human mind the behavioural aspects as well. i have experience of research work as i have conducted two researchs in different organizations. i wish to pursue a career in academia as i have an inclination towards gaining and sharing knowledge. please help me in weighing my prospects of getting admission in a premier school.
