Has anyone seen a change in funding status from Northwestern? Anyone want to guess on the likelihood of getting funding if you have been on the waitlist for funding for a month? Thanks :)

Do you think there's still hope, since some rejections have already been given?

I'm not loving Northwestern's new way of giving acceptances/rejections... wish they would put me out of my misery.

I wasn't very concerned about this when I thought I was starting a Ph.D. in September...

Many of us feel this way, I think. And hang in there - it's not over yet!

Predictions on when Northwestern will notify admits? Surely they wouldn't wait too long...

And why Northwestern has only given rejections.

I don't know enough about placements, but you may want to consider how much you can improve your profile by December - it's not a true year. It may take two years to make a real difference; are you willing to wait?

That is kind of a freaky picture! And how I feel as well. This process is kind of brutal.

So they never tell people if they've been waitlisted? At least they should tell people if they're admitted at some point...
