I have not received any news yet. It is pretty late here and I can't fall asleep! :S

They told me: results would come at most next Monday.. I did not know they were taking it so seriously

Same situation here. Last year I was also placed high on wl at UPenn. At the end I got the admission but without funding for the first year. Apparently it is complicated to get funding if we start from being on the wl.

Btw, I also asked if the offers sent were targeting top candidates but I received no confirmation on that.

I was told decision were already taken by the department and they are only waiting for the Graduate School for the approval in order to send all the results by email. They also confirmed they have sent some informal admissions already

I called to Berkeley. Results are coming this Friday or at most next Monday.

I wrote to them.. 2 out of 4 full scholarships were already assigned. No idea on an approximate date for the other 2

My name was placed on a "short wait list" at Columbia :it's something: I am such a borderline candidate... Haha

I only saw few of them in GC (in comparison to previous years). I think they just sent offers to top candidates.. At least this is what I repeat to myself not to lose hopes

It seems Columbia is updating the website.. Can't stop refreshing my application..

So troll that it says for Fall 2013...

I have exactly the same question...

I think all of us should add our results to the admissions thread. It represents a good source of information for us and for future applicants. :)

I think that checking GC provides us some seconds of excitement and this produces kind of an addictive adrenaline. So, even if we rationally know that it is not good for us, we fall into temptation. We are GC-junkies :S

I decided for the sake of my mental health that I am not going to trust GC anymore... If the news are not over here, then did not happen for me :D
