  1. [TABLE] [TR] [TD][TABLE=class: yiv714658534] [TR] [TD][TABLE=class: yiv714658534] [TR] [TD]TOEFL-IBT is a mediocre exam,I don't find it difficult nor easy. Actually, Its the clock that makes me nervous and I was bothered by the other test takers because of the noise whenever they answers their speaking test part. However, I cant do anything about it but to learn how to adjust myself. I never experience this kind of exam. I am very happy though because I've learned so much from this exam and my English got a lot better. The only advise I would give to all whose planning to take TOEFL-IBT, Do not read discouraging post because it will only bring you down, especially those who are complaining they cant passed it because ets is making it harder or they're not being fair to some test takers and they gave them low grades. I believe ets wouldnt do this because they are EDUCATORS whose job is to push us and improve our scores & prepare ourselves for those who are planning to get a higher degree of education & the realities of professional world. To work in Abroad especially the United states we have to compete with the rest of other educated people out there: Not only physically but mentally as well. Be articulate and not afraid to speak up because of the language barrier. & Unfortunately, language barrier could cause an enormous problems to the quality of care we will provide to our clients(healthcare is the number one issue, especially now they're becoming strict when it comes to foreign graduates). I truly understand the frustration on each test takers, but instead read encouraging post that will motivate you to beat it (Its a challenge). Life is full of obstacle but if we stayed brave and strong, well get there. DO NOT GIVE UP. Boost yourself and think about the people who influence us. And what we wanna become in the future. Study hard and you'll earn it, familiarize yourself to the 4 skills (Reading, Listening, Speaking, & Writing), There's so many free site here that you can practice on. Keep on reading interesting magazine like for example: Readers digest, News week, Newspaper, National Geographic and so on. I am enjoying reading all of these; Because I am exploring my mind and learning a lot of things that I never knew. Memorize vocabulary, Idioms, & metaphor- this is the key to be successful in the 4 skills. Good luck! 2. Thank you for the website you provided in here. This is going to help a lot of test takers like me (especially, if we don't have enough time to sit for onsite-classes). As of now, I'm studying for my upcoming exam (TOEFL-IBT) , I always ask my self, Why most test takers fail this part. And now, I understand why. For me, Its not easy nor hard. Its how quick you understand and pick up ideas/opinion. How you deliver your answer in an intelligent way. (uses of vocabulary/grammar/intonation). Its true when ETS advice their test takers to read articles/journals/newspaper/magazine and by looking up a variety of good topic to websites. Practice makes perfect.
  3. Thank you for this opinion you posted in this website. It helps a lot. I also like the sample you provided in here.
