    Hello everyone, This is my first post on any forum. Not sure how its done, but here goes. Manhatten GRE Prep. Volume 5, Word problems. Page no 125. Q) John invites 12 friends to a dinner party, half or which are men. Exactly one man and one woman are allowed to bring desserts. If one person from this group is selected at random, what is the probability that it is a woman, or a man who is not bringing a dessert. There is an explanation provided but it isn't very comprehensive. Was wondering if there is an easier way to solve this.
