As well, apparently the size of the waitlist is in the 20's and they claimed in the waitlist letter that they aim for a class size of 25 sooo yea definitely don't get your hopes up.

Don't give up quite yet on UCSD. They're sending out personalized acceptances and there are only a couple on gc - wouldn't be surprised if there are a few more tomorrow.

Does anyone know what the deal is with some schools sending information about "Math Camp" in their acceptance email? It's not exactly the kind of thing I want to be hearing about or seems to be particularly relevant until I accept the program.

Northwestern MECS and Duke are my two other options.

This is admittedly a rather vague and broad question but I'm curious if people have opinions / enough knowledge to comment on if Columbia is a good place to go to if someone is interested in micro theory.

I also got an email from Duke, though I got locked out of my account so I'm not sure what the decision is lol. It seems like they're doing decisions in a rolling manner so I would expect more emails from to probably come over the course of the week if I were to guess (iirc there were acceptances last week too).

I appreciate the sentiment, though I must say I wish the admissions committees felt the same way ;). I got rejected from NYU last year but am hoping for the best this year

For once, the dice in this process rolled in my favor - I got into Columbia and I'm currently over the moon right now

wonder if there will be any more Harvard calls tomorrow. EDIT: looks like all the Harvard acceptances from earlier were taken down from gradcafe?

Looks like a lot more Stanford results came in...wonder if there is more to come or the flood of rejections will be next
