Good Lord! Don't get me wrong gmatdanger! Even I am not worthy enough to get a formal rejection letter from Wharton. I emailed my POI to ask about my status and he replied saying the interview invites were already sent out. I noticed that the sooner you start bugging your POI, the better are your chances of rejection! (jk)...So, all the Operations PhD applicants out there, I beg you to start teasing your POIs now so that I can improve my chances of acceptance...At this point I am desperate to improve my chances by any means! As they say, everything is fair in love, war, and PhD admission.:verydrunk:

Today was pretty eventful! Started my day with a cup of coffee and couple of rejects. Just when I was recovering from the trauma of rejection from my dream program (Wharton OPIM), my POI at UT Dallas emailed me to say how she hates to be the bad news bearer! A couple of emails in the afternoon alleviated the pain though. Ohio State - Fisher made my day when they informed me that I have been accepted. Followed by the interview invite from University of Michigan - Ross. I am loving this game of dramatic ups and downs!!!

@S3845714NB - There are only a few schools from T10 where I dared to apply to. As far as I know, those three schools are the only ones from US News top-10 schools that sent out interview invites (based on replies from my POIs and GradCafe results).

@gc98835 - I just got a reply from my POI at Wharton. He said all the interview invites for OPIM have already been sent out. :sorrow: So, my first rejection! :sorrow: Wharton was too long a shot for me, still it hurts...

Fellow Urchers! Hope, all is well with you guys. Came back from my lurking mode to share some good news with you. Just got my first ever acceptance letter from Texas A&M (Mays). Had a very brief interview with them just yesterday (my second interview so far) and was offered admission at the interview. Got the formal letter today. Wish you all the luck on your applications!

Well…finally something for me..got my first interview invite from one of the schools in mid-west today (Operations Management). One of my top choices! So, kinda excited! Skype interview at the end of this month.

Alright…enough of lurking around..I can't take this pressure alone anymore! Applied for the Operations Management PhD programs to a few top-50 schools. Haven't heard anything from any of them yet..Anybody got interview invite from any school on Ops?

Alright..enough of lurking around. I can't withstand this pressure alone..and so I give in. A Business Administration PhD applicant in the Operations Management area. Needless to say, I did not get any meaningful update on the status of any of my applications. I don't see anybody posting anything on Ops PhD application status. Did any of you guys receive any interview invite for Ops? Hope, you care to share.
