  1. I have a question: I like to listen to lectures and such on my MP3 player, so does anyone know where I could download some free lectures or audiobooks relating to algebra and geometry? I need to brush up on those skills before I go back to school. Thanks.
  2. I'm from the good ole US of A!
  3. Cool, thanks. I have one more question: I like to listen to lectures and such on my MP3 player, so does anyone know where I could download some free lectures or audiobooks relating to algebra and geometry? I need to brush up on those skills before I go back to school. Thanks.
  4. Do people not have any answers for me or what? Just wondering.
  5. Why are people's names here different colors? I've seen gray, dark green, light green, and purple. Are those different ranks here at the forums?
  6. That is a lot of combinations. Also, in the formula, what do the exclamation marks mean?
  7. Also, some links to free college lectures that I could download and listen to on my computer or MP3 player would also be appreciated.
  8. I graduated from high school in 2008, and went to a community college for a year, taking four courses in general subject areas. However, after that year, I stopped going due to some issues with time management and academic honesty. I am now thinking about going back to school to pursue a degree in culinary arts, but I had some questions. Since I was homeschooled, I never took the SAT or ACT. Are those absolutely essential for admission into universities and is there an age limit as to who can take them? (I'm 26.) Also, my grades for the four courses I took are B+, B, C+ and F, with a GPA of 2.86. Would you advise going back to community college for another year to raise my GPA before applying to a four-year school? Finally, where can I find an online guide to studying for the SAT or ACT? Like somewhere that has sample questions and answers? Thank you.
  9. Hope it goes well for you, dr_at2007! Also, I'm proud to be able to contribute to the World's Longest Thread!
  10. Hello Urch Community, I am new here. I graduated from high school six years ago, and went to a community college for a year. Then I stopped due to some issues with time management and completing my assignments. However, I would like to return to college again to pursue a degree in culinary arts, and had a few questions. Thank you and I look forward to making some new friends here.
